We don’t live in Reno, so when we come to town, we like a nice steak dinner. I googled and found this place, we’d never been, and decided to try it. We were seated right away. When I called to see if we needed a reservation, we were told they were booked up later, but that we could be seated immediately. I wasn’t a fan of the scanning a QR code and putting in our own order. It’s not a pizza, or fast food place, after all. But I was able to place our order at the counter. The wait staff was very pleasant, but as someone who’s in the beef industry, the steaks left a lot to be desired. Plainly, they were tough and grisly. And cut very thin, for the price. We did enjoy the sides, especially the Cesar Salad. Again, the wait staff was pleasant,. The music was a little loud to be able to carry a conversation. It seems to be a popular place, so I’m sure it’ll carry on just fine with out us. Cheers.
We were seated without a reservation which was nice (didn’t expect to need a reservation on a Thursday, but we were visiting Reno for the first time). Hostess was perfunctory - order from the bar or order online. No explanations or anything (but we watched the same hostess provide info and take orders at other tables - maybe because we didnt have a reservation? And all the tables weren’t full either). Food was excellent - steaks and salmon and 2 large shareable appetizers. Checkout was easily accomplished online. One of my guests wanted a box and after a while I tried to get the attention of the hostess and it took a while for me to get her to the table. She forgot that we requested a box and then when she returned she brought an overly large box do a small piece of steak. One other item - no one ever came back after our food was served to ask if we needed another drink or soda (there was water at the table so that wasn’t needed thankfully).
Overall a very nice evening but hostesses could use some attentiveness.

Can't give this place enough praise. Full stop.
Tia, you made our New Year's eve so special that we can't wait to come back in 2026. Thank you, Doll. Truly.
The food?....we have had some incredible meals, from all walks of life, and from all over the world - this menu/this chef is so incredible suggestable to the majority of dietary persuasions, but absolutely to any culinary level. The fries and onion rings might be the best we've ever had.
The drinks - 10/10.....the Manhattan is a must.
The vibes - pretty decent BUT the service, the food and the music 100% send it.
This was our first time coming here, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. From the moment we walked in, the service was terrible and the overall vibe felt off. No one explained that we were supposed to order at the front, which immediately set a negative tone. The seating was cramped and uncomfortable, adding to the unpleasant atmosphere.
For how expensive this place is, the food was extremely underwhelming. We ordered truffle fries, coconut shrimp, ribeye, and mac and cheese. The shrimp and mac and cheese were the only decent items, but the portions were very small for the price. Everything else missed the mark. The steak was overly fatty, completely unseasoned (not even salt), and topped with a bland butter—which our server accidentally touched. The mushrooms that sounded great on the menu were honestly inedible and tasted like canned mushrooms with no flavor at all. The truffle fries were fine, but nothing special.
To make things worse, the food arrived cold, and even the water and Diet Pepsi tasted off, like heavily chlorinated water. In total, we spent around $80, and it was absolutely not worth it for the quality, portion size, or experience.
We had heard so many good things about this place, but between the poor service, overpriced and mediocre food, uncomfortable seating, and lackluster atmosphere, we left extremely disappointed. We won’t be coming back.
*forgot to mention this isn't a steakhouse at all, this is an overpriced mid pub at best.
Don’t look at these fake/clearly bot generated reviews below. The service here is terrible (basically non-existent since you order everything through your phone). The physical menu they give is completely outdated to the digital menu they require you to use. Entrées come out before starters, basic drinks are not available, by the time food does come out it’s cold and un-appetizing. The staff continues to harp on the fact that you get “free bread” but you go your entire meal without seeing it at all, despite asking time and time again. For the price you pay, I would suggest you go anywhere else in the resort area for quality of food and service. This feels like the equivalent of going to a 1-star all inclusive resort with 5-star resort pricing. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time. Or. Money.
