If you’re looking for a true fine dining experience in Reno, Atlantis Steakhouse absolutely delivers from start to finish.
From the moment we sat down, the experience felt elevated. They started us off with a thoughtful amuse-bouche and ended the night with a bag of cookies to take home — such a sweet and memorable touch. The service was phenomenal; the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel taken care of the entire evening.
One thing to note: reservations are highly recommended. We walked in on a Sunday night and still had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, which says a lot about how popular this place is.
Now, the food — everything we ordered was exceptional:
• Bacon Wrapped Scallops (9/10): The scallops were perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the pecan smoked bacon and grilled pineapple relish. The lemon beurre blanc tied everything together nicely.
• Pan Seared Foie Gras (100/10): This was hands down one of the best dishes of the night. The portion was surprisingly generous for $39, and the combination of pineapple-chili compote, brioche crumble, and Madeira-brown sugar syrup was just unreal.
• Wagyu Beef Carpaccio (10/10): Thin, tender slices with bold, balanced flavors — the roasted garlic aioli and fresh horseradish really elevated it.
• Boneless Ribeye (10/10): A 16oz prime cut from Allen Brothers, cooked and seasoned to perfection. It also comes with a choice of soup or salad — we chose the asparagus soup and it was just as impressive as the steak.
Portions here are no joke — even sharing 3 appetizers and 1 entrée between us, we were completely full and didn’t even have room for dessert.
Overall, Atlantis Steakhouse is worth every penny. Incredible food, outstanding service, and thoughtful details throughout the experience. Easily one of the best steakhouses in Reno. Highly recommend!
