This review is just about the crab cake. It is the best crab cake I ever had. And I had a lot of crab cakes including dozens in Maryland. Truly delicious crab cake. I liked everything else I had but the people should know about the crab cake - or if you don't trust, go verify.

The service here is beyond excellent. By far the best out of the entire weekend in Vegas. Beyond that the food was amazing, especially the crab cake. I joked they forgot the cake in there because it was all crab! My 12 oz filet was cooked to perfection. Beautiful cozy atmosphere as well.

I will honestly come to Vic & Anthony's every time I stay at the Golden Nugget. The service is beyond exceptional. We have had the pleasure of having Jim as our server on our last couple of visits, and he makes the full experience wonderful. Tried a couple of new things this time. We had their Steak Tartare, which was over the top. My wife tried the Pan Roasted Chicken and loved it. I indulged in the special Wagyu Ribeye with Wild Mushrooms and was overwhelmed with delight.

Every year we come to Vegas and have a nice steak dinner out. This was our first time here and it was fabulous! Great up to date, yet old school vibe. Patrick was our waiter and he was one of the best we’ve ever had. He was perfect mix of professional, personable, and fun. He always anticipated what we needed so never needed to ask for anything. We love our steak a certain way and he made sure that’s how it came out. The filet was so tender and lobster was tasty. Go and ask for Patrick. He will take care of you!

DO NOT, and I mean this wholeheartedly, do NOT, book a private event at this location. We paid $5000 for 20 people, we were squished inside of a small room that was supposed to fit 20-23 people, did not even fit 20 comfortably. It was extremely dark, beyond “ambience” and giving vampire. We were given ONE server for over 20 people. He was so overwhelmed the entire night he ended up spilling an entire cup of apple juice down my dress, cut me and my guests off several times and by the end of it pretty much stopped returning to take drink orders. The entire event felt so overwhelming and chaotic. I left crying because I was so overwhelmed and embarrassed. I’m not kidding this is NOTTTT WORTH IT. $5000 for dinner and drinks for 20 people in the smallest room ever with one server. I’m so disappointed. The only plus side was the food was apparently tasty. I left 1.5 hours early so didn’t get to eat, but I needed to warn others. They’re short staffed or just have terrible service skills because this honestly felt like a complete nightmare of a night. I am so upset and disappointed with how it went. My heart is truly broken. You only get 1 wedding reception and this one absolutely sucked.
