  I was excited to see a new Chinese BBQ spot open near my home, so I decided to give it a try and ordered takeout. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Both of the meals I ordered were far below expectations. The rice was only slightly warm, while the roasted meats were actually cold, as if they had been taken straight out of the fridge. The flavor was very average at best, nothing close to what you would expect from a restaurant specializing in BBQ. What made it worse was the price, it’s more expensive than other similar places nearby. I don’t mind paying more, but the quality and portion size were seriously lacking. The portions of meat were small with lots of rice, and I paid $43.33 for these. I also had to wait over 20 minutes for what should have been a simple takeout order. Considering the meats were already prepared, it shouldn’t have taken that long to chop and pack. Overall, very disappointing. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese BBQ, I would not recommend this place. It felt like a complete waste of both time and money, and I won’t be returning.

  Another great place in the southwest. Grew up in the Southeast Asian region and Gourmet Asian 888 did not disappoint. They're a little newer and I can see they'll grow a following very quickly. The staff here is amazing and very accommodating. The place is larger than it looks outside... one can say it's bigger on the inside. 😅 The food is absolutely flavorful the portions are pretty large, so if you can't eat a lot, definitely share. I have to say, it's so good, we went there two weeks in a row. Can't wait to go back.

  I had the salt and pepper soft she’ll crab for an appetizers and it was okay but nothing great about it. It tasted more fishy and nothing like soft shell crab at all. I also got the 2 item bbq plate with crispy pork and roasted duck. The crispy pork I would give it a 7 out of 10. It tasted good, but it was not temperature hot as I would expect it coming from a pan or fryer but more room temperature. The duck was all fat and barely any meat so I was very disappointed and dissatisfied because I was eating nothing but skin and fat. They could’ve at least added some good pieces of duck in there along with the skin, but it was not that great of pieces with hardly any meat. I gave that a flat zero out of 10. Customer service was really on top of it with my drinks and brought me out Chinese hot mustard to dip my crispy pork. Overall this place needs some quality control with the food. With so many options I think I will go somewhere else for good Chinese barbecue. Winkee Chinese BBQ down the street is so much better and tastes better. Hopefully this place will get it together on their quality.

  Ordered Peking Duck, Honey BBQ Pork, House Special Fried Rice, Beef Chow Fun and Malaysian Three Treasures and I was not disappointed. The food and staff (Mandy) was awesome and looking forward to our next visit.

  This place just opened, but it feels well established. We got the roast duck (a MUST), soy chicken, and other platters. Staff was very attentive to us, even during what seemed to be a dinner rush. There is no other family-style cantonese establishment in the southwest area that brings the right vibe and taste as this one. Highly recommend!
