Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customer service experiences varied, with some praising friendly staff while others reported rudeness and poor order handling.
Food Quality
Food quality received mixed reviews; some enjoyed the burgers and fries, while others found them dry, overcooked, or lacking flavor.
Pricing
Many customers noted that prices were high, especially for the Las Vegas location, leading to perceptions of poor value.
Cleanliness
The restaurant was generally reported as clean, with positive remarks about the cleanliness of the dining area and bathrooms.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere was described as lively and bright, but some found it too loud and crowded.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Finally found a Whataburger on the Vegas strip and went for lunch. The place was crowded. You place your order at a kiosk and pay there as well. Then an employee yells (and I mean yells) through the whole place your name when your order is ready. The burgers were huge, I’ll give them that. But thats about it. They were cooked but not hot. he cheese wasnt even melted on them. They come with lettuce, pickles, tomato, and onions. Tasted similar to a Mac Donald’s burger in my opinion. The fries were good (also similar to McDonald’s). They were hot, Crispy outside and soft inside. The fountain soda had a strange mix and didn’t taste right at all. I tried it once. I wont be trying it again.

Came here for my first time , line is long
Seems like a good place , you dont smell anything cooking !
Ordered 2 burger meals, got the food fries taste cold , then my first bite in the burger was so dry I had to add ketchup but it didnt help. The mayo or what ever they use is nasty . Burger was not giving me burger vibes. We had to take everything back , felt sick after eating 2 bites . Then the manager didn't want to give us all of our money back. We won't ever come back .
One meal is like $18 this is wild for it to taste that bad

The young lady that helped me "PEREZ" let me tell you. Great service. Helped me with my order. Didn't rush me. Read back my order to make sure I got everything I wanted. Thank you Perez. She also recommended the Prickly pearl drink. Delicious.

**This review is for the Las Vegas Strip location only**
As Naitive Texan and an avid life long whataburger lover, I was disappointed. They took our beloved whataburger and "Stripified" it, to me it felt like a bastardization of what we have all come to expect from the orange and white W.
1. It was hard to get to
2. It had a BAR!
3. It shared a space with some no name pizza joint.
4. It's not open 24hrs.
5. It was supper loud inside due to lots of TVs and blaring music
6. They don't serve large drinks, only sm & med, and the price you pay for that medium is alittle more than double the cost of a large anywhere else.
7. They didn't scan/accept whataburger rewards. If you wanted credit for your purchase then you had to add it in yourself.
Pretty much the only part that I found memorable was the life size whataburger cup out front, and yes a picture was taken with it
Whataburger is Whataburger, it stands alone amongst giants and that's what make it great.
If other places can't see that and enjoy it for what it is then they don't deserve it

I’m telling ya- a whataburger and a beer from parry’s with kick ass service tops pretty much anything. Went to flights earlier today and it was horrid- ok food but the service was trash- come to whataburger. Service with a smile and great food. Annnnd you don’t have to pay $100- Jaylene is a rockstar!
