Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers found the burgers to be dry, overcooked, or lacking in flavor, with some comparing them unfavorably to fast food chains.
Service Issues
Numerous reviews highlighted poor service experiences, including long wait times, incorrect orders, and rude staff.
Cleanliness
While some customers noted the restaurant was clean, others reported unsanitary conditions, particularly in the bathrooms.
Pricing
Customers frequently mentioned that the prices were high, especially given the quality of the food, with some feeling it was not worth the cost.
Positive Experiences
Despite the negative feedback, there were several positive comments about the food being enjoyable, the atmosphere being lively, and some staff providing excellent service.

Whataburger in Vegas. Food was consistent with the one in Laredo.
Aroma ,taste and good. Price wise a little more but compare to most hamburger joints price is average for Vegas.

I ordered online and when I went to pickup they couldn’t find the food. After verifying my receipt he went looking for it and finally came back with the order and said it was behind something. By then my food was cold and not fit to eat.

Terrible experience. I came to Water Burger in Las Vegas to order a simple burger and it was a complete mess. I clearly asked to remove the tomato and the pickles, which is a very basic request. When the burger arrived, not only was it wrong, but it came WITHOUT CHEESE.
What makes it even worse is that there is no clear option to choose a burger with cheese when ordering, which is ridiculous for a burger place. A burger without cheese should not be the default, and it’s unacceptable to find that out only after opening the food.
Very poor organization, no attention to customer requests, and a confusing menu. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend and definitely won’t be back.

I was in texas for a week and have seen a lot of Whataburger places, I really wanted to try but I couldn't. However when I saw this place in Las Vegas I was really happy and gave it a try, It's a regular burger joint nothing special, food was great, no disappointment, the place was a little busy but was clean. If you're hungry and want a burger, this is the right place, burger, pizza and a bar in the same place with extra large screens - of course it's vegas-
But nothing extraordinary but will meet expectations.
I placed my order using the self serve kiosk, the only disappointment was once I finished ordering and was ready to pay with a card, the screen was showing "follow the reader's instructions" but nothing was showing on the reader. Had to switch kiosks and start all over again.
Other wise it was great experience.
