As I was paying at self checkout , they were gossiping about one of the customers that had just left , they were referring to her as the "b word" and they even used a racial slur pertaining to the individual, they said : "wetback"... They were saying it was a woman that apparently goes in and buys tequila in the mornings. Three bottles at a time. The lady said she refused her as it was a bad look for their store and that she should go back to Mexico. This is how you will know who they are talking about if you check cameras or question them, because they were complaining they she was a "regular' customer. When they said it the racial slur of "wetback" they said it really loud near me and several other customers ,we all had our mouths wide open in disbelief. I do not know their names and in retrospect should have never discarded my receipt. It was around early morning on way to drop niece at school. One of of the women was elderly with white/full grey hair pulled back in a ponytail working self check out and the other employee one was a very obese woman just standing next to a cart gossiping with her ,I don't know what her job there was, if she was also a cashier at self check out, not sure. As I mentioned I had my 8-year-old niece with me as I was on my way to drop her off at school, she is an honor roll student and very smart. She also heard this and it was really uncomfortable to have that conversation with her in the car once we got outside. She sure had a lot of questions. Shocking. Now reading the other reviews on here it sounds like a pattern. I'll be contacting corporate.
