  The worst Tropical in the valley. Service is so sloow. Sometimes they just don’t respond at the drive thru. Wish I knew the owner so I could tell them how bad it is.

  look i tried ordering through the app, the flatbread and smoothie combo but it kept saying my card was declined? weird bc the charge showed up in my bank account anyways. so i go in person to the drive thru and order the same thing and it came out to more than what i originally was charged through the app? ok whatever i can just fight the double charge with my bank no big deal. but like 1.5 hrs after i ate the flatbread i had to throw it all up!! nasty!!! 0/10.

  Waited in the drive-through at 2 PM with only one car ahead of me. That car sat at the speaker for about 10 minutes just to place an order. During that time, five additional cars lined up behind me. We all ended up waiting roughly 15 minutes total with little to no movement. Even after the first car placed their order, the line still wasn’t moving and several cars were waiting at the window. Eventually, the rest of us had to back out and leave. I understand that delays can happen, but this felt excessive for mid-afternoon. If the drive-through was moving this slowly, I didn’t feel confident that going inside would be any better.

  Wasted 25 minutes of my time for a single smoothie after I asked about my order turns out when I ordered they neglected to not give me any proof of purchase aka receipt or ask for my name so when they made it they had no clue who to give it to left it on a counter then when I asked about my order they started acting as if I never ordered anything if it hadn’t been for my friend who called them out on their bullshit they would of scammed me out of 7.95$ just go to Jamba Juice…

  TLDR: Employee wouldn’t take my order because she said she had other orders to do. Most of my visits throughout the valley to tropical smoothie cafe have poor service. The employees have that gen-Z stare which I say as a Gen-Z. This location has to be the worst. It was my first and last visit. I went around 1:30pm on a weekday for smoothie. I pulled into their drive-through and was told “we’re not taking any orders at the moment.” Thinking maybe it was an issue with the speaker or payment, I asked if I could order inside. The employee said no because they have too many online orders at the moment. Okay, so how about I order online, and then you do the work that is required of you? Either get more employees or get a better work ethic. I’ve never been turned away from a place because they have other orders to fulfill. Sure a sit down restaurant can turn you “away” but that’s due to there being no physical location for you to sit either from walk ins or reservations and then they give an estimated wait time. Fast casual is different. She could’ve said the order will be delayed, but it was full statement that they will not provide any service.
