Casual attire is required, and guests should avoid arriving overdressed (scandalous and tacky). Before reaching the dining area, there is a lounge immediately accessible from the elevator. Reservations are mandatory—do not arrive without one.
My group reserved the tables by the glass windows, which rotate during the meal.
As for the food, it was acceptable but not exceptional, especially given the price. The steak I ordered was fine, but nothing I couldn’t have prepared at home. Ultimately, the value felt more tied to the experience and the celebration of a friend’s birthday rather than the culinary quality. For a group of four, expect to spend at least $400. Given the cost, I wish the restaurant invested more in elevating the food.
The staff members were friendly. While the service wasn’t poor, it didn’t reach the level I would expect at this price point. In fact, the overall service experience was comparable to what I receive at a more casual establishment like Texas Roadhouse.
After dinner, there is an additional level accessible by elevator that leads to an outdoor viewing area, which I found to be a nice touch.
My wife and I finally had the chance to dine at Top of the World in Las Vegas, and it was absolutely worth the wait. From the moment we sat down, the rotating view of the entire Las Vegas Strip was nothing short of breathtaking. Watching the city lights slowly pass by as we ate created an unforgettable atmosphere.
For dinner, my wife ordered the filet mignon and I went with the New York strip. Both steaks were cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and exactly what you’d hope for at a restaurant of this caliber.
We tried a couple of drinks as well. I ordered a Long Island, which was a bit sweeter than it should’ve been and lighter on the alcohol, but my wife’s double whiskey and Dr Pepper was spot-on and definitely hit the mark.
Overall, the combination of incredible food, great service, and that stunning panoramic view made for an amazing night. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Vegas, Top of the World absolutely delivers.

It’s not worth spending $25 per person for window seating. They advertise it as the 106th floor, but the actual height is only about 800 feet—basically the equivalent of a 68th–70th floor. I’m not sure what kind of floor calculation they’re using.
As for the food, a basic chicken dish with petite potatoes and a sweet sauce for $50 is ridiculous. I’d recommend sticking to appetizers, salads, and desserts—the entrées aren’t worth the price.
Service was just okay. My wife is a vegetarian, and the server seemed disinterested in explaining the available vegetarian options.
Feel bad leaving only 3 stars, yet wish to be honest as I am a Veteran who lives paycheck to paycheck and saved for this trip.
1. Atmosphere makes it a must see regardless.
2. Almost turned around and left as we approached, due to very suspect surroundings, overwhelming stench of Marijuana, lack of class. The fact that you have signs outside warning people about smoking speaks high negative volumes.
3. Absolutely amazing, classy restaurant decor. Yet very disappointed that you are forced to cater to the element that surrounds your hotel. We adhered to your dress code, only to be sat next to people breaking every dress code rule in the book.
4. Ordered the strip steaks. Hers was amazing 10 Oz, and my 16 Oz was barely acceptable considering the prices, expectations.
Regardless, we are glad we went there even if the restaurants AMAZING views was all we got out of it. Cannot stress this enough, you have a very classy restaurant that unfortunately is a victim of it's environment.
So for those that might show up and want to turn around like us, hold your breath and make your way in to experience the BEST views ever!

We were in Vegas for a girls trip, and several people recommended that we visit Top of the World. We made a reservation for window seating, and while the view was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, we were very diasappointed with both the service and the food. The food was Bland, Cold and came in very small portions. Our server was impatient and didn't answer our questions. She never checked back with us until we were almost finished eating. If she had been more attentive, our experience might have been much better.
We were also surprised that the dress code was not enforced. For example, one intoxicated guest was wearing knee-length tights, a t-shirt, and slides.
We spend over $500 on food, plus $27 per person for the window seating view, we expected much more for that price. Our group traveled from Dallas and New Orleans and we all left disappointed.
Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.
