  The price isn’t the issue. I have had 100s of straight razor shaves from barbers around the world & this was the worst in my life. I was left with a bleeding face, several cuts, & missed spots with hair. I didn’t even notice until I got back to my hotel room. The blade felt very dull and the technique was wrong. You would think being in the Cosmo it would be high end barbers and service. I do not recommend this place at all. FYI — the bar is also closed on Monday.

  Apparently I was not dressed okay or hot enough. Service and drinks were sucky. I was there to spend money and it was lost on the people who think they are holier than thou.

  Really disappointing experience at Barber Shop Speakeasy. We walked in and tried to sit on one of the couches, and the bouncer immediately told us they were “reserved.” Every single couch was empty, and they stayed empty the entire time we were there. No one was coming for them, and no one was using them. It honestly felt like they just didn’t want us sitting there for no reason. When I said we’d just leave, the bouncer was incredibly rude and dismissive instead of trying to be helpful or respectful. There was zero effort to explain anything politely or make guests feel welcome. Vegas has no shortage of great places to go, and unfortunately this isn’t one of them. The vibe was unwelcoming and the staff attitude completely ruined the experience. I won’t be back.

  I’ve been going to Mikey E at the Cosmopolitan Barbershop for over five years, and I can confidently say he’s the best barber I’ve ever had. He even cut my hair for my wedding and for my groomsmen, which says everything about the trust I have in his work. Mikey is so good I literally plan my Vegas trips around my haircuts. I try to come out every ten weeks just so Mikey can make me look like a rockstar. He’s incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and consistent, but what really sets him apart is his personality. Great guy, great energy, and always a great experience. As a Platinum MGM member, I truly appreciate exceptional service, and Mikey delivers it every single time. Top-tier cuts, top-tier service, and a top-tier experience. Five stars without hesitation.
