  My boyfriend and I recently traveled to Las Vegas for the first time and discovered a charming speakeasy called The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails. We were excited to try it out after a long day of exploring the city. Upon entering, we noticed a group at the center of the venue enjoying drinks. When they decided to leave, the lady kindly suggested we take their spot since we wanted to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. However, our experience quickly took a turn for the worse when one of the staff approached us and insisted that we move to another table because our spot was “reserved.” We were surprised by this, as there were no signs indicating that the table was reserved. Despite our polite inquiry, the staff member seemed more interested in enforcing the rules than accommodating us, forcing us to relocate to an uncomfortable table by the entrance. As background, my boyfriend owns three restaurants that feature speakeasies, so we are familiar with the culture and expectations of such establishments. Unfortunately, the treatment we received was far from what we expected. The bartender's attitude, particularly towards my boyfriend, was rude and unprofessional. To add to our frustration, when we were leaving, my parent accidentally opened the kitchen door instead of the exit, and the same staff member responded harshly, saying, “What are you trying to do, man? Just leave!! Overall, it felt as though the staff did not respect their customers, and I would rate this experience 1 star if I could give zero stars, I would. The service we encountered was disappointing, and we would not consider returning to this establishment. Additionally, the venue itself did not live up to the expectations we had. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more welcoming and enjoyable experience.

  The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails was an incredible experience from start to finish! Vincent Wilson and Donny were absolutely amazing—both were outstanding at what they do, and you could truly tell how much they love their craft. Their energy, talent, and passion made the entire experience unforgettable and so much fun. Our waitress, Jazz, was also excellent—attentive and friendly. Between the atmosphere, the entertainment, and the exceptional service, this place completely exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back!

  Stumbled upon this gem in Vegas! Awesome service fantastic vibe! Had a variety of cocktails all were excellent. Even the security staff was professional and friendly. Vincent made us feel welcomed an safe. Excellent all around experience!

  We were sitting by the bar having a drink had been there maybe 30-40 minutes when all of a sudden the bouncer came to us and said he needed our stools no explanation. The place had plenty of seats. I was so upset and just left. Not sure if they had VIP people there but we paid for our drinks just like everyone else. I will not recommend this place there’s other nicer speakeasy’s that don’t treat you like a second class citizen.

  Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I admit I could have communicated my vision better, but I would’ve appreciated the barber being more engaging and asking clarifying questions to make sure we were on the same page. I had a reservation but still waited over 15 minutes. The haircut itself took close to an hour, which was surprising given the end result. I came in with fairly long hair (bangs down to my eyes) and asked for short sides and back at about a #2, while keeping the top long and only trimming about half an inch. Instead, it came out looking almost like a buzz cut, with the top sitting flat along my hairline. Overall, the result was not what I asked for and was disappointing. I never once saw myself in the mirror throughout the cut, only at the end to see what happened because I was facing the opposite side of the wall the whole time, back facing the mirror. When I saw the end result I didn’t say anything I kinda already chose to take the L. I just wanted to get outta there. Like what else would they do about it, my hair’s gone already and cut super short. No point in complaining to their faces. Hair is hair it’ll grow back. Still tipped though, and I dont call out names like that either. I was expecting to use MGM Resort Credit to cover this $75 haircut, but since I booked online and paid with apple pay, there was nothing else I could do. Also another L. I’m giving 3 stars because I only experienced the barbershop aspect of this spot.
