The food at STK is awful. We had a late 10pm dinner. There were clearly no chefs on staff, only bartenders, so maybe our mistake was ordering food past 10pm.
The bread appetizer came with a weird butter sauce and a terrible blackened dipping sauce that tasted like burnt plastic. It tasted like some kind of rancid oil had been literally set on fire.
I had the filet for a whopping $90, and it was the first time I've ever had a bone dry filet mignon. It came out in less than 5 minutes and it was clearly cooked earlier in the day and kept under warmers until we ordered it. Serving reheated $100 steaks is nonsense. It was undersalted too which is even more insulting.
I also didn't know it was possible to mess up an old fashioned. It cost $30 which made the bad drink even worse.

So disappointed!!! Went for my son's 22nd birthday dinner and the staff was so rude. I had to take a minute to decide if I even wanted to stay after just 5 minutes. Specifically, we were not greeted, and dismissed by the hostess, who was not polite, or friendly in the least. They initially gave us a table top in the bar area, which didn't work for us. My husband even joked, that he felt like we were at TGIF's. We asked for a nicer table and were given one after being asked to wait until another server arrived to work. The food was good, but for the price ($200.00 per person), you can get a better service, and overall experience anywhere else. Don't waste your time or money. Try Ocean's Prime, so much better.

We came to stk for our 10 year anniversary knowing it was going to be expensive but what I did not expect was to pay 13$ just because they put two slices of butter on my steak. Also never getting told it was an up charge to do so just was asked if I wanted butter on my steak which I said yes to and then found the charge later on the bill. The service was not the best if you are not a high roller then you get dismissed. The steak was good but can not say it was worth the price. If you want good food at a better price just got to Amaya in the same hotel half the price and food was better in my opinion. If you just have alot of money you want to throw away this is not a bad option but definitely was a let down for us.

We went on both 10/31/25 as well as 11/1. VERY different experiences. On 10/31 -- very low vibes. Clientele was loud, obnoxious, poorly dressed. Happy Hour -- $14 for sea bass meant two small pieces of fish, probably 5-10 grams at most (each), sitting in a lettuce leaf. Ridiculous. Burger slider had a very thin meat patty. Tiny. Ridiculous. Fries were cold! Alcohol drink was just OK. Ceviche was obviously old (lime juice was bitter as when it sits around), it was warm (almost room temperature), avocado was "integrated in, in a bad way" (as when it gets old and dissolves into the ceviche). This was hands down the biggest rip-off ever, esp. when they call it Happy Hour. We vowed to go back to maybe try the hamburger slider one more time. On 11/1/25 we went back. We ordered the hamburger slider and it was very fat, at least 3x as fat (meat patty); fries were very hot. We saw the food that other people were ordering and noticed it was better than the previous day, so we got the ceviche again and this time it was presented much better and was cold and fresh. We were sitting at the bar and I ordered a drink from the bartender and it was fantastic; I ordered as second one, it was so good. Everything was better. Our final verdict? -- Obviously inconsistent at STK Las Vegas. Is it worth the "gamble"? We think not. We won't be back. Either way (good or bad), keep in mind that the "Happy Hour pricing still means you'll pay at least $70 a couple drinks + sharing a few apps.

Our waiter, Joseph, was awesome! So friendly, attentive, and really made the experience better. Unfortunately, the atmosphere completely missed the mark. The music was so loud it felt like being in a nightclub! You literally have to shout over pounding bass. I understand it’s Vegas and fun vibes are part of the draw, but this was club-level volume, not fine dining. The lighting was also extremely dim; you practically need a flashlight to read the menu.
The food was hit or miss. The prime rib looked great and my mom said it was delicious. My sea bass was fresh and tender, but not worth $80. It came with chopped bok choy that was undercooked - I expected nicely steamed pieces, not rough chunks. The $45 lobster mac and cheese was especially disappointing. Instead of a rich, cheesy dish topped with lobster, it was box-style starchy pasta with a layer of hard melted cheese and tough overcooked lobster chunks on top. I couldn’t finish it. The asparagus was cooked well but topped with a bland creamy “mystery” sauce; simple butter and lemon would’ve been better.
Overall, we spent about $300 and left underwhelmed. The ambience was more “nightclub with tables” than upscale steakhouse. Unless you’re going for drinks and appetizers with friends, I’d pass. Our waiter’s excellent service was the only thing that saved what would’ve been a pretty poor birthday dinner.
I absolutely love fine dining and have eaten at top restaurants all over the world, but this experience just didn’t measure up by a mile - especially for a place that’s supposed to be one of the top restaurants in Vegas.
STK offers a modern twist on the traditional steakhouse with a flirty, bustling bar scene, an inspiring menu, and an energetic dining atmosphere.
