  Randomly stumbled across this restaurant while looking for something for dinner. So glad I came in! The vibes were great, service was amazing as soon as you walk in. Shout out to Antonia she was an amazing server and really made the experience great for my partner and I. The food was absolutely incredible we had to thank the manager Johnny and chef Christian! I would definitely try anything any of the staff recommend

  Seems we arrived on an off night. We called ahead and asked how long of a wait for a party of 6 and we were told 5min! Wow! Great! 3 other places said 1 hr! We rushed there within 5min to then watch tables be given away, and a high order of chaos take precedent in turning over the tables, dealing with customers, orders, delivering food, etc.. Was told it was a "crazy night" and they were short staffed. Maybe next time tell people it's a 30min+1hr wait. After 25min we finally sat down, ordered, then waited another 30min for sushi and sashimi. Must have been a bottleneck in the kitchen too The food is of excellent quality, great flavors and a very high grade of fish which can be expected of a non AYCE type establishment. Mario roll is the BOMB! After our meal, the owner Johnny very graciously came by, apologized, offered free desserts and we had a very nice conversation about the F&B industry. I commended him and his chef for their excellence. Sadly as we left I said Have a good evening to the original food server who never even looked at me and rudely walked briskly by and mumbled "you too". I am sorry they had such a frustrating and hectic evening and hopefully can learn from this experience and continue to improve.

  Didn't feel like cooking and had already walked out of two other sushi places that would not accommodate for egg/mayo allergies or seat us somewhere other than a small 2 top. This place was nice, clean, informative and very accommodating. Food and service by Ryan was beyond excellent. Definitely coming back here again. The mixed tempura platter was phenomenal. Usually don't eat Brussel sprouts and asparagus spears nor chili pepper tempura, but wow . Sushi and rolls were perfectly done.

  We had such an amazing experience at Soho Japanese Restaurant 🤍 The food was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and packed with that perfect umami that keeps you craving for more. Every dish was satisfying and well-prepared. The ambience is cool and inviting, making it a great place to hang out with family and friends. Relaxed but still feels a bit elevated. But what truly stood out was Angel. Her customer service was beyond excellent—attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. She made sure we were comfortable the entire time and went above and beyond to make our experience special. You can really tell she takes pride in what she does. Soho is lucky to have her—she’s definitely someone who deserves recognition (and honestly, a promotion 🤍). We’ll definitely be coming back 💫

  ​I can’t recommend this place enough! We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the experience was top-tier from start to finish. ​The food is incredible—the bluefin truffle oil sashimi is easily the best I’ve ever had, and the butterfly shrimp was a total standout. Beyond the menu, the service is what really sets them apart. Our server was fantastic, but what impressed us most was their hospitality. Even though we arrived late and ended up staying past closing time, the staff remained incredibly gracious. They never once made us feel rushed or unwelcome. ​If you're looking for amazing Japanese cuisine and a team that truly cares about their guests, this is the spot!
