  am a huge fan of Scarpetta in NYC, I have been going there for years so when I recently relocated to Las Vegas I knew it was going to be one of my first stops, let me start by saying it did not disappoint. Located on the 3rd floor of the Cosmopolitan when I walked in the room was stunning, dark lighting and warm tones gave me an instant feeling of joy. We were seated at a table with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the fountains and the lights of Vegas the view was worth the price of admission, our waiter was a pro and beyond accommodating, he was excited to have us and was warm and welcoming. He suggested some craft cocktails and they were fantastic. We ordered the beef carpaccio to start, it was a perfectly balanced dish and delicious and we also ordered the arancini which was equally beautiful and tasty. I ordered my favorite dish which is the duck and food gras ravioli which is a Scarpetta standard and the dish jumps out with beauty and flavor. My husband has the special pasta of the night from a suggestion by our waiter, it was perfectly al dente, balanced spicy and with a pop of acid, there is a reason this place is always packed it is that great. Please don’t sleep on the polenta, it is creamy and full of flavor. For desert we had the limoncello cheesecake and it was decadent, rich, beautiful and delicious. The meal was a 10 and so was the service, the only thing missing was Scott Conant appearing out of the kitchen going table to table wearing his signature beads and a smile. Scott please visit the Las Vegas location more often and let us know when you will be there so we can thank you in person for filling our bellies for years! This a a perfect date night or celebration restaurant, but it is also the kind of restaurant that is great on a weeknight for thoughtful service and an excellent meal!

  Definite jewel for ambiance and food!!! Thank you to the GM, Fabian, for creating the perfect Anniversary dinner experience for us!! Our entire party had a fantastic evening! Food was delicious and server, Gabriel, was attentive to our needs. Thanks to all!!!

  Even though this is an adult place, it's so friendly for kids!! For example, when we celebrated my brother's birthday, they gave us a plate full of fancy dessert! We also liked the oysters, the truffle pasta, and boy are the chefs nice!!

  We booked a reservation for 30 to celebrate a 60th birthday, and the restaurant made it feel truly special. They prepared a beautiful private room for us—though the two long tables made it a bit snug, I was seated at the chef’s table with a few friends, which was spacious and offered a stunning view of the Bellagio fountains. The guest of honor and his family were given a separate round booth, which was a thoughtful and elegant touch. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the service was impeccable, and the food was solid. The standout for me was the amaretto gelato—absolutely divine. I’d happily return when I’m craving quality Italian cuisine. Whether you’re planning a night out with friends or looking for a romantic spot for two, this place delivers on atmosphere and experience.

  We had 8pm reservations and decided to wait about ten minutes at the bar for a table with a view of the Bellagio fountains, which was absolutely worth it. The ambiance set the tone perfectly for a relaxing evening. To start, we ordered the Caprese salad, oysters, and octopus. The oysters were fresh and enjoyable, though slightly below the quality of STK’s and a couple of notches below the exceptional ones at Kame Omakase. Still, they were worth ordering if you’re an oyster fan. The octopus wasn’t as tender as what we had at Ocean 48, but my wife is a big fan of the dish and really enjoyed it regardless. The star of the night was definitely the tableside pasta for two. It was perfectly executed and paired beautifully with the roasted carrots and mushrooms, both of which were excellent sides. Service throughout the evening was top notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend Scarpetta, especially if you can snag a table overlooking the fountains.
