The salmon was delicious, the desserts, especially the carrot cake and salted caramel, were wonderful, the waiters were attentive and warm, everything was great.

So I never leave restaurant reviews, but that being said, the disparity between the food value and the cost warranted it. Don't get me wrong, the wait staff were wonderful, and we enjoyed our drinks and appetizer.
My entree of spaghetti and meatballs was good, but the meatballs were very tiny and somewhat dry.
My wife's shrimp scampi had one large shrimp still in the shell and a few smaller shrimp pieces mixed in. Portions are not generous for those who like to eat.
So in summary the food was good, but with entrees being around $40 and $25 drinks, it adds up fast.
What really motivated me to leave this review was that after spending $25 for one martini, it takes balls to then charge 50 cents for each Blue Cheese olive you put in the drink. That's petty and greedy, a complete turn off. Shame on you.

We were there on a Tuesday....a food reviewer we like... vegas with shin... who has such an expressive face you know what he thinks of the food before he says anything... said it might be the best steak he has had in Vegas... we have watched the man eat alot of steak so we had to try.... oh my... me and the wife had the most wonderful filets... best I have had in Vegas.... sitting at a table with a beautiful view of the Belligo fountains.... we wanted a starter but felt we had to get some pasta even tho we were there for steak.... so we told them we were going to split the Agnolotti as an appetizer... they split it for us and brought it out on 2 plates... like little ravioli... short rib, brown butter, horseradish & toasted breadcrumbs is what the menu says... I say little pillows of heaven with a savory beefy satisfying filling... Mother Wolf was the best pasta I have ever had till these crazy delicious melt in your mouth pouches.... wine which was a Corvina blend was best I had all trip... but the info I need to pass on to you the most is SALTED CARAMEL BUDINO... trust me it might be the best desert I have ever had.... Service and atmosphere are perfect..... cant wait to go back....

am a huge fan of Scarpetta in NYC, I have been going there for years so when I recently relocated to Las Vegas I knew it was going to be one of my first stops, let me start by saying it did not disappoint. Located on the 3rd floor of the Cosmopolitan when I walked in the room was stunning, dark lighting and warm tones gave me an instant feeling of joy. We were seated at a table with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the fountains and the lights of Vegas the view was worth the price of admission, our waiter was a pro and beyond accommodating, he was excited to have us and was warm and welcoming. He suggested some craft cocktails and they were fantastic. We ordered the beef carpaccio to start, it was a perfectly balanced dish and delicious and we also ordered the arancini which was equally beautiful and tasty. I ordered my favorite dish which is the duck and food gras ravioli which is a Scarpetta standard and the dish jumps out with beauty and flavor. My husband has the special pasta of the night from a suggestion by our waiter, it was perfectly al dente, balanced spicy and with a pop of acid, there is a reason this place is always packed it is that great. Please don’t sleep on the polenta, it is creamy and full of flavor. For desert we had the limoncello cheesecake and it was decadent, rich, beautiful and delicious. The meal was a 10 and so was the service, the only thing missing was Scott Conant appearing out of the kitchen going table to table wearing his signature beads and a smile. Scott please visit the Las Vegas location more often and let us know when you will be there so we can thank you in person for filling our bellies for years! This a a perfect date night or celebration restaurant, but it is also the kind of restaurant that is great on a weeknight for thoughtful service and an excellent meal!

Rarely saw our waiter. Came only to take our order and to give up our bill. Felt attitude changed when we didn’t order and wine or alcohol. Not that i didn’t want to drink but can’t due to existing health issues. Worst of all this was my wife’s birthday dinner which was known to the restaurant but no complimentary birthday cake was offered.
