I thoroughly enjoyed their fluffy coco bread, flaky beef pattie, extremely tender oxtail with rice & peas and steamed veggies, saucy jerk chicken and a not overly sweet rum cake. My soul was more than satisfied. Give this place a try, the food will not disappoint.

Recently moved here from Chicago and it's times like this I miss back home. Chicago has some of the best Jamaican Jerk spots. The ambiance is nice at this spot, service was good but the prices are outrageously ridiculous and the food is 6 out of 10 (skimpy amount too). When you pull up to this spot there's no aroma of jerk chicken SMOKING, not even when you walk in, you don't smell anything! I spent $60 and it wasn't worth my time, money or gas. I can't wait to visit my hometown again, I will definitely be bringing back plenty of jerk chicken in my suitcase!

Whoever said the food was cooked by a “lovely, sweet aunty” is an extremely dishonest person who likely has some personal interest or connection to the restaurant. This restaurant has the rudest service I’ve ever experienced. A host station with no host, “aunty” staring at us idly as we walked in, no smile, no greeting. So, we attempt to brush it off and seat ourselves, since the restaurant was empty aside from one other guest. Some time later, the same employee approaches the table, still no greeting, no smile, and asks us what we want. She does this without offering us a menu, something to drink, or anything of usual sort. When we ask for a menu, she dismisses us and instead decides to reprimand us for seating ourselves, while pointing at the empty host station. Needless to say, we won’t be back unless a change in management or ownership happens.

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean filled with reggae music representing the Jamaican culture. It was just a little on the loud side. I was able to charge my cell phone and use the toilet facility which was very clean. I really visited for the chicken soup advertised. However, the receptionist indicated that it was not available as it was not a popular menu item. My suggestion is that they prep in individual sizes so that it can be easily prepared if requested. Also, preparing some ingredients from frozen with added fresh ingredients would also be helpful. The vegetables and rice and peas were on point. The Oxtail needed to be more flavourful. Coming from the country of Oxtail origin with a wide range of food from different ethnicities; I couldn't honestly say it didn't need more seasoning. The texture was good and so was the colour and plating.
