Momufuku is one of the strip's not-so-hidden gems. After trying the pork buns my first time, I had to come back for a full dinner, and it didn't disappoint! My colleague ordered the spicy pork miso ramen, and I had the brussel sprouts and iberico pork.
The brussel sprouts were perfectly caramelized and crunchy, with a great kick from the diverse blend of peppers and spices. The pork was similarly a dance on the palate as promised: a sensational cut that easily masquerades as steak drizzled in a flirty, flavorful sauce that leaves your mouth watering long after you've taken a bite.
While the price is certainly a bit higher than the surrounding shops, the quality is well worth the price tag. If you are headed to the strip, Momofuku is not to be missed.
Bonus points: I had to take half of my meal to-go, and eating some of the meat cold out of the refrigerator the next morning was an entirely different, but no less incredible experience đ

WORST EXPERIENCE - Check Your Bill Carefully
I trusted this place because itâs a famous franchise in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Big mistake.
What I ordered:
â 2 Ramen bowls ($24 each)
â 2 Sapporo beers ($11 each)
â Spicy Cucumber ($13)
â Should be $94 total
1st bill: They charged $32 for each ramen
I complained. They canceled and re-charged. Took 15 minutes.
2nd bill: AGAIN overcharged another item at $30
When I complained, they said âWeâll remove one beer, so youâll benefit.â
BENEFIT? YOU benefit $1, not me!
NO APOLOGY whatsoever.
I had to catch a flight so I just told them to hurry up and give me the bill. I left furious.
The table next to us saw this and started checking their bills too.
Being famous doesnât mean trustworthy. Always verify your receipt.
Food is decent, but their dishonest billing practices are unacceptable. Will NEVER return.

We arrived 10 mins early and there were already 5-6 parties waiting at the host stand. The host (Angel) simply said, âYou have 10 minutes left,â with no greeting or warmth, which set the tone.
We ordered the bo ssam (their popular item). The meat was tender, but the flavor was overly sweet. Also, when the dish was delivered, we were told it came with jasmine rice, but what arrived tasted like sushi-style rice. It felt like the staff didnât fully understand the menu details.
When we finished the meals, the restaurant still looked empty, yet when we left there were 10+ parties crowded outside, and we overheard multiple complaints. If youâre taking reservations, the seating and communication should be better.
I wonât return and donât recommend based on foods, service and overall experience.

Loved our meal.
We're fans of David Chang and have dined at Momofuku in another city before (years ago) and wanted to revisit.
Shrimp Baos were good. It's like a shrimp cake, bouncy in texture. The sauce gives a nice tang. We wanted to try something different than the typical pork belly Bao - this is a nice option.
Noodles - we went for the mushroom ramen. SO PACKED with flavour. Umami bomb. Different mushrooms allowed for different tastes and textures. Highly recommend.
Lamb - very good. Surprising flavours that work well together.
We topped off with the ginger scallion noodles.
Two people, stuffed. Our eyes were greedier than our stomachs.
Our server was amazing. Great conversation with each interaction/dish and really went over and above to ensure we had a great time. Don't know if he was standout or if it's the service philosophy here.
Glad Momofuku is still kicking it all these years.

The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance. Our group of five was seated at a spacious round table with stunning views outside the window. We ordered pork belly gua bao, two servings of ramen, and roasted lamb chopsânot a single dish disappointed us. We shared everything and left completely stuffed and satisfied!
The pork belly in the gua bao was chefâs kissâthe fatty parts melted in your mouth without being greasy, while the lean meat was tender and juicy. Wrapped in soft, fluffy dough with a drizzle of sweet bean sauce, every bite was pure bliss.
The onsen eggs in the two ramen bowls were the perfect touch. Break the yolks and toss them with the springy noodles and rich, flavorful brothâit was so savory that it hit the spot instantly.
Last but definitely not least, the roasted lamb chops deserve a special shout-out! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they were packed with meaty flavor. Paired with the subtly Mediterranean-style dipping sauce, they were absolutely addictive!
