  I have dined in at Kase four times prior to my latest experience. The food and service have always been top notch while dining in, but my take out experience this past weekend was not positive. I placed an order for pick up at 6:30pm for Saturday night on noon around Friday, over a day before I planned on picking it up. Upon arriving at 6:30pm on Saturday, I was told that my order was not ready and that it would be another hour before the food would be ready. I had a strict timeline so unfortunately, I had to cancel my order after arriving at the restaurant. I did ask if it was possible to just put something together and charge me for what they can put together so that I would not leave empty handed and change plans at the last minute but was told that was also not possible and they were not able to fulfill partial orders. I was also informed that the manager would reach out to me but it has been 5 days and I have not heard back nor have I received a refund yet for my order cancellation. I probably will still come back when I am less time restricted in order to dine in because the food and service while dining in is great, but the take out experience was definitely lacking compared to the dine in experience.

  I was extremely disappointed to learn that this restaurant received a C health inspection grade on January 13, 2026, with 38 demerits. According to the inspection report, the violations included serious issues such as improper temperature control of TCS foods, lack of protection from cross-contamination, inadequate cleaning and sanitizing of food-contact surfaces, labeling and dating failures, pest control concerns, and missing or improper HACCP-related procedures. This is an omakase sushi restaurant, where food safety, cleanliness, and temperature control should be the absolute basics—not things that fail inspection. How a place like this cannot pass fundamental health standards is honestly shocking. I am very disappointed and will not be returning.

  I’ve never left a food review but was genuinely so disappointed by my experience. The omakase was absolutely NOT WORTH the $280 bill (before tip). And maybe it is my fault because the waiter did recommend à la carte for first time visitors but silly me thought the $120 9 course chefs special would be a good time. The sushi was good but nothing better than any other sushi place (including all you can eat) you can go to in Vegas. No special fish, no special preparations, no special service. A couple of the pieces were actually too salty. Honestly, all of this could’ve been overlooked if it were not for the miso soup/seaweed salad being included as a course for the 9 course omakase. The menu made it seem like miso soup was included on top of your 9 courses. No. It counted as a course. One small bowl of miso soup counted as a course for our “9” course meal. No drinks or desert was included. Either spend a little extra money and go to a real omakase restaurant or just go to a higher end sushi restaurant, it’ll be more worth it than whatever this experience was.

  Obsessed with this place! My boyfriend and I stopped in on a random Thursday whim since we happened to be on this side of town—and wow, what a find. The fish was incredible: unbelievably fresh with amazing flavor. Hands down the best sushi spot I’ve ever been to. It was so good, we came back again just three days later… and we live 25 minutes away! Totally worth the drive. We had Nick as our server both visits, and he was an absolute joy—so friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely fun to talk to. This place is truly a hidden gem. If you’re a Vegas local, this is a must-try. And don’t skip the omakase—it’s an absolute must! 🍣✨
