If this was based just on my lunch experience, I would have given it five stars. I was excited to return with my husband and other friends for dinner. We ordered the same thing as I did for lunch (their sushi omakase) and it took almost an hour to receive our main course. My friend's sashimi omakase was mediocre and we were starving by the time the food arrived. The miso soup and edamame were too salty and it was not enjoyable. After our meal, the chef came to us to thank us for waiting and apologized that he was slammed with take out orders. My question to you is - do you think take out patrons should supercede those dining in? I would think not. It's like prioritizing those calling in and ignoring the one in front of you. I would rather go to another restaurant if this is the type of service to be expected at dinner.

The atmosphere is modern and energetic but still refined, perfect for a date night or special occasion. Every piece was incredibly fresh, but the Otoro was the real standout. It was cut to perfection and melted in your mouth. The torched wagyu was phenomenal too. What really made the night special, though, were the chefs. They explained each dish in amazing detail and took the time to chat with us about our favorite cuts of fish and even the strangest foods we’ve tried. You could feel how passionate they are about what they do. If you’re a sushi lover visiting Vegas, Kase is a must-try. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
