My go to item is the açaí bowl and sometime the topping on top are plentiful and sometimes not . When I have a lighter bowl day I simply go inside and ask for the team to adjust it . Well today we were charged for it and that fine, it was $.79 and I don’t have a problem paying if the staff asks . When returning to pay for it… my boyfriend was greeted rudely by the manager with a “What’s the problem now? What do you want ?” After he lets her know that she’s being rude and that was unnecessary she quickly tells him that he shouldn’t be raising his voice in the establishment. No apology, nothing. All she said was “Well that’s your opinion.” So when he got back into the car visibly upset, I went in and asked for her name and the store number to report the incident to corporate. Her response was : “No! Just refer to me as the manager. The store number is on the receipt. “ When I asked why she wouldn’t just give the information , she stated that I was abusing her, I was raising my voice, and that it is a private establishment . Not to come back to this store ever again. She was argumentative, dismissive, and rude . She shouldn’t be working in customer service . I let her know I will be back every day until I get her name so that I can file a formal report . No ONE should treat paying customers this way. Then to gaslight and accuse people of being rude because they are telling you that you’re wrong is absolutely NOT OKAY!
