We walked up trying to get a walk in for our group of three today on Friday night. They took our phone number and name down and said it would be a while for a table of three. They were being vague about, so we asked how long of a wait it would be, since we wanted to know if it would be on the order of 20 minutes or 2 hours. They said they didn’t know and gave no explanation. Then another host said we were the first in line and they would text us. We said okay and wandered of to wait. They never texted us. Weird vibes and bad service.

Kevin was a force of nature, this guy gave us the best experience in the busiest night. He’s a boss!! Thank you, Kevin!!! He was knowledgeable, kind, and just in time.
Fantastic fine dining. I went during their happy hour. The service, the atmosphere, and the food were superb. It definitely is on the pricier side, so keep that in mind.

Our large group ordered the tasting menu. Everything was solid with no major issues, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Jaleo is difficult to evaluate in Las Vegas because it sits on a floor among some of the strongest fine dining options in the city. It is good, but comparatively less memorable.

Waitstaff was clearly overwhelmed. Food came quickly once ordered, but it took forever to get somebody over to attend to you.
This high end tapas bar in Vegas was also out of over half of their bottles of Rioja. Every affordable bottle was sold through and we wound up having to spend 50% more than desired to get a bottle that was actually available. How convenient for them.
The food was good but not quite remarkable. Prices on the food in particular were good for what we got.
Overall, I would not recommend Jaleo. It's very typical Vegas.. flashy but lacking substance. There are much better finds for dining on the strip.
