  Our experience at Jaleo was a delight. We went as a small group and were very pleased with the service. We enjoyed an array of tapas — gambas, chorizo, croquetas, piquillo peppers, lascas, cured meats & cheeses — which were all incredibly delicious. For the main course, the cuttlefish & shrimp paella was a standout, as well as the steak with was melt-in-your-mouth tender. They wine selection was stellar. Definitely recommend!

  I went for a work dinner last night and had a wonderful time. It was perfect for a group dinner but would be great for a special occasion as well. Kevin was an excellent server who recommended wine pairings and tapas we would like. He was very attentive to our needs while managing a lot else going on. Jaleo will certainly be a place I think about the food for a long time. I would absolutely recommend making a reservation.

  We had multiple dietary restrictions and a guest With mobility issues. I was so impressed with the level of service and attention to our group was unmatched and professional and respectful. I love Jose Andres for his philanthropy and cuisine, which keeps bringing me back here, but tonight it was the service that was the star.

  Service was severely lacking during our customer dinner. Place didn’t look super busy (at least 50% of the tables were open), but our waiter was only back once during our 2.5hr dinner to refill/get more drinks or ask about food. Portions were tiny (even by tapas standards) and quality was lacking for the price paid. Seafood dishes didn’t seem fresh and smelled/tasted overly “fishy”.

  I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The menu was fresh and unique, and the combination of flavors were outstanding. Two of us shared the flat iron steak, the garlic shrimp, the calamari small plate, brussel sprouts and marinated spanish olives. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly, the sauces on both the shrimp and small plate were excellent, and the olives really tasty. Even my dry traditional Sangria was amazing. The portions were perfect for two people. We left feeling thoroughly contented. My only critique might be with the calamari. They were over salted to my taste. For dessert we shared the chocolate torte with ice cream which was delicious, and the flan. Service was impeccable. Our waiter was attentive, as was the rest of the staff. Dishes came out in a timely, well sequenced manner. Skip the Mexican restaurant downstairs. It is really noisy amd overpriced and head up to level 3 for this Spanish tapas delight. Well worth it!
