- TTTravis Tucker1 day ago1.0I don’t even understand how this happened, but they presented me a check showing I was comped for my beers. I didn’t know why, but my first thought was “man, this place is awesome”. When they returned, they charged me for the full price without the comp, which ruined the awesome mood I was in. It also annoyed me because I didn’t intend to pay with card until I was shown the beers were comped. (This was rectified but nothing more) I intended to pay the price they showed me on paper and when they fixed the error, they just charged my card anyway instead of clarifying with me. Like I get it. They only comp if I was gambling. But for a second, I thought this was one of those cool local bars that hook up their customers. I’m still baffled they presented me a check that showed my beers were comped, then just charged me the full price without clarifying the error with me beforehand. Wouldn’t they have noticed the error? Why not just tell me? I would’ve been a bit more understanding. Very disappointed.
