It was my wife's birthday, so I brought her to Fleming's. Very nice atmosphere, service was excellent. They had set up the table with sprinkles of little stars and a birthday card, which was quite thoughtful. We had the 20 oz pork chop and sea bass. The pork chop was very filling and cooked just right, delicious. Sea bass as well. The staff gave us a box of chocolate for the birthday, and took a picture of us and printed it out, which was very nice and thoughtful. Obviously, being a fine dining establishment, it was pricey, but that is of course expected. Overall, a great fine dining restaurant!

Ate there around 3:30 this afternoon (10/27/2025). There were only a few other people in the restaurant (I mention that for a reason). My fiancée and I ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer, then each had the lobster bisque, the dry aged rib eye, and ordered the Fleming's potatoes to share as a side.
The sourdough bread they brought to the table was pretty good and they offered to bring you as much as you wanted. The crabcakes were good, and the lobster bisque were good.
The main issue was, when we got our steaks, the potatoes didn't come out with them. We were half way through our steaks before I got the server's attention and told him we hadn't gotten our potatoes yet.
He goes to check on the potatoes, then comes back, and tells us that the Fleming's potatoes aren't available yet and asked if we would want some mashed potatoes instead. To be fair, they ended up not charging us for the mashed potatoes, but our bill was still $250 ($299 after the $45 tip I left). Again, there were 2 other people in the entire restaurant. So, I'm kind of at a loss at how the server couldn't let us know that the potatoes weren't available until after we were half way done with our steaks. He either should have known that when he took our order, or when he went back to put our order in, the kitchen should have informed him so he could immediately come offer us something else.
I wouldn't judge a $100 meal this harshly, but this isn't a $100 meal, it was a $300 meal. So, yes, I expect the service and food to be perfect.
The steak, also, just wasn't anything special. It definitely was a prime cut, the fat was well rendered, it was a perfect medium rate, but the flavor from the dry-aging process seemed extremely lacking, and you expect a really good prime cut of steak to just be beefier tasting, and it just wasn't. It was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, but the taste just wasn't what I was expecting from a $77 a la carte steak. If it was a $60 steak that came with sides, then I probably would have been fine with it, but it wasn't. So, I'm going to judge it more harshly based on the price. It was a perfectly fine steak, just not worth what we paid for it in my opinion.
The mashed potatoes, were DEFINITELY nothing special. Really lacking in flavor. Texture wasn't great.
The failing to tell us that the fleming's potatoes weren't available until we were half way through our steaks was the main issue though and the reason I probably won't be back. If they can't manage a situation like that properly when there's no one in the restaurant, that's a problem.
