  For the second year in a row I've attempted to order online in advance with no luck. I called and stated "I need to order six baker's dozen boxes". I was told they don't take phone orders. So, I responded that I would be there in a few minutes. Upon arriving maybe 10 minutes later I overheard the cashier explaining to someone else we can only order one box at a time online and it would go through. Assuming that customer had the same issue I confirmed it with the cashier and attempted this in store and it still kept failing. Cashier saw the failure and informed the GM who says it's because today is Nat. Bagel Day. I say ok, so how do I order. She said I would need to call the catering line. (Don't know why I wasn't told this when I called minutes ago). I call Jennifer, she says they cant get 6 boxes done within a half hour BUT she will tell the GM to sell me whatever is in the case. I was ok with leaving since they were understandably busy and the GM overwhelmed. However, since she offered this option, I agreed, all set. She calls GM, GM tells cashier I have to get what they have and instead of just having them start packing up the bagles, she berates me and RE-explains how next time I have to order in advance online because it's "Nat Bagle Day". I remind her I tried that, then she switches to I need to call in advance next time. I said nevermind, wished her well and walked out. Worst service experience in a long while. At that point, why not just box up the bagles, take the money and send me on my way after being asked to do so by your catering director who offered it to me? May all their future bagel days go well.

  At 6am on a Saturday with the best attitude of anyone I’ve met in the food industry. Louie, the shift lead, was nothing short of amazing. Was having a very somber and terrible night into morning, and his welcomeness and patience really showed genuine care. I couldn’t make a decision and he helped me with such kindness. You can’t teach this humility. He’s a gem. He deserves a promotion.
