- HSHoward Marc Farinas SingsonOct 10, 20251.0I’m very disappointed with the lack of sanitation and professionalism I witnessed today, October 10, 2025, around 12:15 p.m., at this Earl of Sandwich location on S Rainbow Blvd. While waiting for my order, I saw a female worker biting her fingers, then immediately put on plastic gloves without washing her hands. When I pointed this out, she said she didn’t understand or speak English, which is concerning since food service staff should be able to communicate with customers and follow basic hygiene rules. Another male worker also put on gloves without washing his hands, showing the same disregard for food safety. To make things worse, the Filipino male cashier was rude and dismissive when I brought up the issue, instead of addressing it professionally. Food safety should always be the top priority, and seeing this kind of behavior in a restaurant is unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and retrains their staff to follow proper sanitation and communication standards. Customers deserve to feel confident that their food is handled safely and respectfully.
