I’m leaving this review to request that my mobile food orders be consistently fulfilled as placed, especially when I pay for extra items. I am not criticizing the entire staff. I have been a regular customer at this location for about two years, and most employees are polite, professional, and correct mistakes or apologize when something is missing. Unfortunately, this experience was different. I placed a mobile order in advance through the Dunkin’ Rewards app for a 1:15 p.m. pickup. I arrived at approximately 1:17 p.m. and informed the employee at the speaker that I had a mobile order. I was directed to the drive-thru window, where my coffee was ready, and then instructed to park and wait for my food, even though no cars were behind me. When I received my order, I noticed the bacon was missing from my bacon-topped avocado toast, an item I pay extra for every time. I attempted to get the employee’s attention but was initially ignored. When I spoke with her, she insisted I had not ordered bacon, even though my mobile order clearly shows the add-on in the app. This is the second time this same employee has made that claim. At approximately 1:24 p.m., she rudely stated I could either go back through the drive-thru or go inside. When I reiterated that bacon was part of my order, she told me to wait, went back inside, and never returned. I finally left at approximately 1:26 p.m. because I had somewhere I needed to be shortly. I understand this is fast food, but there is no reason to take out frustration on a customer. This specific item has been incorrect multiple times, which is why I now feel the need to check it every time. If I didn’t want bacon, I would order the regular avocado toast. I am not trying to get anything for free. I am simply asking to receive what I paid for. Management may want to ensure employees accurately read mobile orders and maintain professionalism. The order includes timestamps, and the interaction occurred directly in front of the store entrance, so it should be on camera.
