I enjoyed the tasting menu and the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all incredible! The tasting menu was so filling and delicious, the portions were perfect. I sat at the bar which I recommend because I was entertained by the chefs making tortillas, sopes, tacos, burritos and more (there are two bars, and if I had sat at the other bar, I would have been able to watch the chefs make dumplings and more of the Chinese vs Mexican food. The pomegranate margarita was my favorite and the salt foam was so much better and more interesting than a salt rim. The mango sticky rice dessert was also incredible, delicious, interesting, and something I will go back for my next time in LV.
Highly recommend this restaurant!

Above and beyond (and I have reviewed many restaurants).
We went for dinner and utilized the Chase Sapphire reserve dining credits included in their Edit hotel stay. We billed it to the room instead of paying with the Chase credit card, worked out fine for using the credits.
We tried the tasting menu, one vegetarian (no meat, no fish, no eggs) and one regular, priced at $60 each. They had 8-9 courses for each menu with a vegetarian substitute for some courses. The vegetarian menu items were equally good. There was one equivalent dish lacking which the chef complimented with something out of the menu. One dish was Mexican, the other Chinese and so on. Attentive and friendly service, the server answered questions related to the ingredients and relayed us the cooking process from the chef for a few dishes. It took us 2+hours to finish. The initial courses were small while the end ones were more fulfilling.
We went for lunch the next day and ordered some other dishes, they were delicious as well. They had many affordable dishes between 10-15 each as opposed to the other nearby restaurants.

Great spot near Block 16 Food Hall in The Cosmopolitan! Atmosphere and menu is a really cool blend of Chinese and Mexican influences. We had the Oxtail Soup, Quesabirria Tacos, and Swallow a Cloud for our mains. The oxtail and wonton soups (*Swallow a Cloud) were fantastic. The quesabirria was good, but the burnt tacos and seasoning weren't my favorite. The $10 Modelo...was a sticker shock.
Service was prompt, if not direct. They did a pretty good job of not letting our water glasses get less than 1/2 empty. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back.

Being a fan of Jose Andres, I was really looking forward to dine here. Prices seemed reasonable and the menu seemed so unique and amazing!
1) Coming to the dining experience, one of the front desk ladies was rude, followed by a server who was more interested in telling what he likes from the menu than letting the people decide. He told he likes X and we ordered Y and he didn’t seem happy.
2) We really loved the sea bass ceviche and sticky mango rice.
3) Mexican and chinese food has a common thread of spice which was missing in all dishes as they seemed severely toned down. I really felt bad about it.
4) The 20 vegetable fried rice seemed so promising on the menu but in reality turned out to be egg fried rice. After taking out all egg, there was more egg than all veggies combined in the rice. Disappointed.
5) Ordered the dan dan mian noodles with again high hopes but it didn’t have an ounce of spice that is the base character of the dish. We finally sent it back and the server asked us the reason. We said we didn’t like the taste. And he made it seem that we didn’t understand the dish/flavour profile.
All in all, its food that misses the mark along with a weird server.

My spouse and I went there and tried the chef's experience. It was a huge amount of food for what we paid for, and the ... maitre'd? Sous chef? The guy in charge of the Mexican side of the kitchen, was very personable and helpful.
I think the offering of both good Mexican and Chinese food is brilliant - as someone from the Bay Area this feels overdue.
Dishes that were stand-out delicious to me:
- the fried rice
- the coconut ceviche
- the shumai
- the carnitas taco
- the mango "sticky rice" (more like toasted rice Krispies, but I liked the interpretation)
- the tres leches cake
- Mexican cafe (I usually hate coffee, and somehow I kept sipping my spouse's cup)
I'd go back in a heartbeat.
