I showed up at 8:25 checked in, then they told us that they were short staffed so we couldn’t be seated. Then they told us that we had to wait 6 minutes. After 15 minutes of still waiting, and both tables leaving they still didn’t seat us so we just got up and left at 8:50 after still not being helped or even acknowledged.

Our server came by about after 5 minutes and took our beverage order, did not ask us if we had appetizers in mind, which we did. Another few minutes goes by and drinks finally arrived, unsweetened iced tea which was so watered down it barely had any color. Our order was placed which was 3 entrees all with salads. 15 minutes later salads arrived. Refills were long and hard to get. Entrees came out, we had to shuffle the empty salad plates around to fit the entree plates, i guess when i tossed the plate they finally got the hint to remove the empty plates. Presentation was lacking. Server offered cheese and came back about 5 minutes later after my dish was half done, I declined. I had the shrimp and scallops Ala vodka. 2 medium sized scallops and 4 shrimp. With a large bowl of pasta. Sauce it seemed wasn't just right. Other 2 entrees were, the salmon and chicken picatta. The tables are in need of refinishing, along with the chairs. I've only been to a Carrabas one other time in Lexington KY, which was a fine dining experience in comparison. So dissatisfied with this visit after reading other reviews about how great the service was. Servers shouldn't have to work an entire dining room with patrons not being attended to properly and pretending its ok. Bad experience for a birthday dinner. May not return.
- JDJennifer DullOct 20, 20255.0OMG!! Atmosphere was friendly, warm family feel. We were warmly greeted by Jenna, Jasmine was our server. She was attentive and very accurate with our entire order. Jenna came by to check in on us after our meal. Everything was simply fabulous from seating through dessert. The food to die for the service most pleasent.
