I got my items and was ready to check it, no one was at the register, which I didn't mind. I simply waited in line, I didn't say anything or anything, I get people have multiple things to do, especially during slower times... However, the attitude of Carol as she was walking up and actually saying, while talking to herself (out loud), people need to learn how to ... I couldn't hear the rest of it, but I did bring it up to her when she made it to the register and she told me I could've gone to self checkout. Well, if I wanted to go through self checkout, I would've. Attitudes like that could be used to justify having less cashiers and therefore eliminating her position, but I maybe getting someone with a better attitude would be more appropriate. I get customer service and I'm quite understanding, but that mentality is crap, and I'd much rather be assisted by a human, hence the reason I stood in line and didn't complain to anyone. I've been to this Albertsons every day for the last week and have come off and on over the last few months, but I won't be back now. I'll go to the one I posted on my last review or hit Smiths instead. There wasn't a manager on duty for me to handle this in-store and at that moment, but this was an unacceptable experience.
