  Went on 04/07/2026 at night to buy a double chicken tostada salad and churros. The taste of the tostada and churros was disgusting. Old oil and chicken was so dry. Also barely any beans and rice. Such low quality for the price! Never going to this location again. Also guy on the windows was sassy and rude.

  How do you run out of chicken and ask customers to wait 1 hour for chicken at peak dinner times? Unbelievable.

  I have been a dedicated customer at this El Pollo Loco location for over four years, even continuing my patronage after relocating two years ago and passing an alternative establishment on my route home. My continued loyalty was largely due to the consistently flavorful chicken and the outstanding customer service provided by Juana and the staff. Juana's welcoming demeanor and prompt attention to customer concerns, often involving the manager, when necessary, contributed greatly to a positive dining experience. However, following the recent remodel and particularly over the last several months, my experiences have significantly changed. I have noticed a decline in quality, including instances of undercooked chicken, cold shells, and other issues. When I attempted to address these concerns, the staff appeared uncertain and overwhelmed, demonstrating less attentiveness and care than previously experienced. On multiple occasions, a female employee who appears to be a manager has not responded to feedback, instead distancing herself from customer interactions. It seems that management or possibly new ownership has shifted priorities towards cost-saving measures at the expense of customer satisfaction and food quality. As a result, my visits have decreased from twice weekly to perhaps once every two weeks. Presently, I only choose to stay if Juana is working, as the service from newer staff and management does not meet prior standards. Given the current focus on expediting drive-thru service which leads to longer wait times for walk-in customers the previously welcoming atmosphere now feels impersonal and rushed. I am now considering preparing the chicken at home, as the sense of familiarity and attentive service that once distinguished this location is no longer present.

  The chipotle burrito I ordered here didn’t have a lot of flavor or seasoning, in my opinion. The food felt cleaner/healthier to eat versus say a fast food burrito for example, which prevents me from bumping it lower, but the lack of flavor/seasoning prevents me from upping it.
