  Two weeks ago, my husband took me to Anthony’s Prime Rib and Seafood at the M Hotel Casino for my birthday. We had been looking forward to trying the seafood buffet for a long time, so this visit was meant to be special. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Some of the food quality did not meet expectations—the shrimp was cold and hard, tasting as if it had been pre-frozen or sitting out too long. The snow crab legs were extremely thin and soft, so we chose not to eat them. The lobster and some other items were good, but overall it was inconsistent. What truly ruined the evening, however, was the service. While I was seated and eating my second plate, a waiter began clearing a nearby table and shook the tablecloth directly toward our table. This was extremely unsanitary and very unpleasant. We both looked at him in shock, and although he apologized, he continued his task. A few minutes later, my husband informed another staff member, as we were both very upset. At that point, I had lost my appetite and could not continue my meal. We ended up leaving early, and I was unable to enjoy what was meant to be my birthday dinner. This experience was disappointing and not what we expected from a restaurant of this reputation.

  Highly recommend the brunch buffett if you can grab a table. Food was all amazing and fresh. Lobster, crab legs, lamb, prime rib, beef wellington, and some many desserts, fruits, meats and cheeses, and breakfast goodies it was hard to list it all. Staff were amazing and never let food run out either. Just wish I had a larger stomach to have taken advantage of everything a bit more.

  It was my husbands birthday celebration. We had to wait about ten to fifteen minutes for our table. It took a very long time between getting our water then waited for or menus getting our order taken and a very long time to get our food. Two of us had the Halibut and it was so dry you could not eat it and it was so small. Definitely not worth the price. The other two people had filets and they were ok but definitely over priced. The crab cakes we had for an appetizer were supposed to be lump crab cakes and there was no limb crab in them at all and they were about the size of a golf ball. This was so disappointing when we were there for a celebration. It’s horrible when you go to a higher end restaurant and the food is not good nor the service. We do not recommend this restaurant.

  Where do I start? I should just say save your money. Do not go to this Sunday brunch definitely not worth the money. It better off going to South Point. They have better food at the buffet. And please save your apologies if you want to apologize just send my $200 back.

  "Sophisticated M Chophouse". What a joke. Arrive at 2150 hrs. The greeting is,"Just to let you know,the kitchen closes in 10 minutes" I asked,"Does that mean you are open or closed?" The sweet response was,"I am just telling you that the kitchen will be closing at 10 PM." I shrugged my shoulders and said to my wife,"Obviously,they do not want to serve us." Now my wife is irritated at me because there is a zero percent chance that I am going to stay and she's hungry. Twenty minutes later we arrive at Prime at Bellagio. The "Sophisticated M Chophouse" didn't want my business or need my money. Judging by looking at how empty the M Casino is,why would they want my business? As I side note,after a great meal at Bellagio,the wife and I got DESTROYED at the BlackJack tables.Full belly and empty pockets,I am sure the "Sophisticated M Casino" didn't want any of that action either.
