The only down side was the inside of the batter. The outside was lovely and crispy and what I would get from a good English Chippy. But on the inside the batter was soggy and have a weird taste to it. I can't put my finger on it. Otherwise it was a meal I did enjoy.

Service was great. My husband and father-in-law really enjoyed the house beers. Food is good and includes classic bar food as well as some English dishes. We recently traveled to the UK and I would say the steak and mushroom pie (Monday night special) was on par with ones I had over there. Loved that the "veggie of the day" was fresh veggies that were perfectly cooked and still a little crunchy. The bread pudding is also very good, my daughter really enjoyed it!
