  I can’t believe I’m going out of my way to review a fast food restaurant, much less a Taco Bell. But the amount of horrible we just experienced deserves a bit of feedback in hopes that maybe the manager will see this and do something about it. First off, there’s only one TB in all of Boulder City. You’d think they’d want to provide the best possible experience since they stick out already as the only TB within 20 miles. Nope. It’s almost as if they went out of their way to make sure they have no repeat customers. We went through the drive through. Was that our mistake? Once we leave who cares what we think? The kid hands us a giant root beer with said root beer all over the side of the cup. And the lid was half on and half off. My favorite. As I’m wiping the cup clean and putting the lid all the way on I can see him out my peripheral vision and figured he would say, “oh, I’m sorry about that” but no - he said with an impatient tone, “here you go”. I just ignored him and wiped my hands clean. We got to our destination 5 minutes later and decided to just eat in the car. I opened my first hardshell, melt, taco, whatever it’s called, to find it completely smashed into pieces. (my second taco was the same). What the hell happened to these tacos? And the texture was, best described as stale. Like they’ve been there for hours. And with how fast they served us, I bet they had. I didn’t even finish the second taco. Then, I was so excited to eat the cinnamon and fudge empanadas. They looked so delish on the menu board. Nope! Even more stale than the tacos. They were hard and stale and horrible! I couldn’t believe it. How could they mess these up? Or is that how they always are? We took a couple bites and threw them out. Fast food is horrible to begin with. We all know that. But sometimes you just don’t have a choice and you suck it up or you think, let’s just eat this garbage and at least enjoy the taste. But then when you subject yourself to this poison and they can’t even make it properly or serve it to you the best they can? This is happening more and more to use. Jack in the Box used to be a favorite guilty pleasure but they’ve handed us the worst crap imaginable the last few times we’ve been there. Same with McDonalds. Once in a while you just crave a quarter pounder and some fries but they hand you something you wouldn’t feed your starving dog. I really wish I could say I’ll never eat there again but I inevitably end up again after a few months and regret it all over again. I pray for strength.
