Surprisingly great experience at this McDonald’s. The service was quick, the staff were friendly, and my order actually came out fresh. The place was clean, the vibe was fun, and even the fries were perfectly salted. Honestly, the Welton Street location is one of the better McDonald’s I’ve been to.

Called ahead about missing wraps from my order at McDonald’s following leaving their drive through . I provided the transaction number, dollar amount, store number and the name on the order so staff could locate it in their systems to help resolve the issue. On the phone, the worker kept asking if I wanted my details entered in a “book for next time,” even though I was already on my way and had stated such, but was asked was I going to get it tonight or at a later date. While I was still on the line, the person assumed I had been put on hold after saying just a moment and proceeded to speak in another language with a coworker in front of a customer who couldn’t follow the conversation. This felt disrespectful and unprofessional after I was promptly put on hold without explanation of what was going on after saying I had not been during that time and heard him conversing with a coworker when I was “supposed to be on hold”. I informed the worker I could still hear him speaking just not to me.
When I arrived at the store, I interacted with a woman at the counter; I never saw the man I had spoken with over the phone. The staff struggled to process the missing item through their system. Which I couldn’t fault the counter workers for at all, they were nice and tried their best and resolved the issue as fast as they could . My initial order on the receipt read at 7:22 PM, yet I did not receive the wraps until 7:55 PM. The poor phone handling and having to drive back after making it home made what was a small issue much more frustrating as it was a family’s meal and I couldn’t have shown up without someone else’s food.

I'm not even giving this place a star. Terrible experience at McDonald's welton street drive thru. We visited to order 2 Mango Pineapple Smoothies, a Frappe Coffee with chocolate drizzle, and strawberry banana milkshakes. The staff member took our order and then informed us that the milkshake machine was off, citing it was 11:30 PM However, when we checked the time, it was only 11:28 PM sharp.
To make matters worse, this isn't the first time we've encountered this issue at this location. The staff seemed completely unprepared and unapologetic, simply telling us that we couldn't have what we ordered and asking us to choose something else.
The lack of accountability, poor communication, and repeated mistakes are inexcusable. As a paying customer, it's frustrating to be treated like we're the ones who are inconveniencing them. Needless to say, we won't be returning anytime soon.

I do not typically leave reviews for fast food restaurants however the staff at this location were all incredibly kind that I had to! I only got coffee so I cannot comment on the food service but I left with a smile on my face from the staff behind the counter, and the member picking up the leaves in the parking! Multiple members greeted me with good mornings and asked how my day was going all with great attitudes!
