Both burgers were wrong, so we brought them back and explained the issue. The manager immediately became defensive and said, “we do make mistakes.” That’s fair, but his attitude wasn’t appropriate. He offered to remake the burgers, but insisted that I take the incorrect ones and throw them out myself. I explained that they weren’t what we ordered, so they weren’t ours to deal with. He continued to insist that I handle the incorrect food before he would do anything else. I declined and asked for a refund, but he refused unless I disposed of the burgers myself. At that point, we left—and they kept our money. This feels like a tactic to avoid issuing refunds. The manager came across as confrontational and unhelpful. We won’t be going back.

Clean place... I would say that I gave it 4 because of their own idea to put free nuts for clients. Nice snack idea :)

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
