  I was so displeased with the whole session. The wait for a table was not too bad but WOW, the wait for food - don’t visit if you are hungry! We were told we could not have plates for our shareable dish because nothing was washed, and no utensils! Food on the floor and just terribly understaffed or people just did not care.The promised lollie at the end - we were told ‘we ran out’. I used to love Montana’s - not so much anymore. Too bad.

  Went to Montanas in Halifax and it was great. It was busy and the wait staff were really busy but still happy to serve and greet each table. The food was good. I had pot roast soup mushroom skillet corn bread and long Island tea. My husband had wings and a rack of ribs. They were all amazing except the mushroom they were'nt cooked and were very watery. But Luna ( our waitress) took them back to the kitchen and had them removed from our bill. I was very grateful for that. Wonderful service and great food. Thank you we will be back. Michelle beazle

  Nice people, good food. If you like slow cooked beef and bbq sauce you will be happy here. I wouldn't say the ribs and brisket are special but the price is good and I've had worse at "specialty" BBQ places. My big shout out is the wings. Excellently fried and sauced. Monday wing night is an all too rare case of a good discount of well made food that's not cutting corners.

  I booked a friend's Birthday a week in advance . I didn't book the party room but they booked it, which only held 10 Last minute another person tagged a long . Not their fault and they tried to accommodate getting a table close by for them . Everything went down hill from there 60 % of the orders were cold or the wrong steak doneness /preference. My hamburger taste like a thin a prepared frozen patty and it was dry and burnt. The food took over and hour to arrive . The manager said she was going out back to yell at the employees? That made us feel so much better! We wouldn't want to be the cause of that. It definitely put a damper on things .

  We came to Montana’s for lunch last week and had such a great experience thanks to Kayla and Darcy! From the moment we sat down, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They checked in at just the right times, made sure our drinks were always topped up, and were quick with anything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. You can tell they really care about giving good service — they were upbeat, professional, and made the whole lunch feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s always nice when good food is paired with even better service. Kayla and Darcy definitely made our visit extra pleasant. We’ll absolutely be back!
