    The servers every time are fantastic. The food has gone way down hill. Not only the portion amount, but the quality and flavor. Normally we get the chicken tetrazzini. It used to have a fair bit of flavor, chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. Last night we had it again. I think there may have been 3 mushrooms few tiny peices of tomatoes, and maybe a chicken amount of 1/4 chicken brest. All of this and the price is risen up. Not sure if they are all like this, or just this one. Basically, head office is saying cut way back, or just this owner. Another small point. Even my 8yr old commented on how small the bread has gotten.

    BEWARE OF MICE IN THIS RESTAURANT!!! My husband and I have been regular, happy and loyal customers at Eastside Marios Bayers Lake since it opened 25 years ago. I enjoy their meals and their good customer service. Last night we went to Eastside Marios in Bayers Lake for supper and it was busy and noisy as to be expected for a Saturday night. After our waiter serve us our meals and we started eating, we were shocked to see a mouse running along the walls of the restaurant. I know that restaurants have mice but to see one coming out with all the people and noise was still surprising and shocking. We did not feel comfortable finishing our meals so we paid and left and did not take our meals with us. I don't know if I want to go back to eat at Easide Marios Bayers Lake ever again. The cleanliness of this restaurant has always been questionable especially the bathrooms. Their pest control is obviously lacking and needs to improve!!!

    Incredible service tonight at East Side Marios!!!! Huge shoutout to our server, Rochelle, who really made the night incredible as we celebrated our sons 3rd birthday. With an endless supply of napkins on hand to tackle the spaghetti mess from our toddler, her attention to detail, proactiveness, and positive attitude made for an incredible night out for our family. Ontop of that... its been many years since weve been to an East Side Marios, and boy - weve been missing out! The food was fresh, and very tasty! My husband had the "Manga Sampler", and I had the Balsamic Pizza. We both were floored by the quality! This location has stepped up their game and you dont want to miss it! Thanks again to the whole team for a fabulous evening.

    Usually a regular at East Side Marios for many years now, me, the wife and our daughter really love this place. The food is always on point, the atmosphere is always good, and service most of the time is good too except today! Everything was good except our service, it felt very pushy and uncomfortable. You don’t ask to bring the bill in the middle of us eating the food! You don’t ask to bring takeout containers while we are still eating the food. It felt uncomfortable. Mind you , we were in and out within 45mins! Not even finishing our food. The service made us feel like we were taking too long and inviting us to leave the restaurant. I will be back because we love the food but hope this doesn’t happen again. Also worth to mention that we still tipped.

    I already loved East Side Mario's but my visit on October 30th 2025 on a little dinner date with my boyfriend was really great. We got the Thursday (feast for two?) special which was so good and so worth the money, I can't recommend it enough. We would have spent way more on the ingredients to make it at home and then had to clean up the mess, too, so this was a really nice treat! What made the whole thing stand out was the perfect service from Rochelle. She was fun, she was friendly, she put up with my pickiness without missing a beat, she had great recommendations, and when I told her that I was enamored with the service robot she made sure to bring him over and tell me all about him. It was just very welcoming and lovely and I'll be sure to ask for Rochelle any time I'm there from here on out, she really was a phenomenal server. Thanks for a really nice night, Rochelle, Lindsay, and the whole gang at East Side Mario's! We'll be back sooner than later. 😌
