Stay away from their Nathan's hot dogs by the rotisserie chicken. Burnt solid on one side, soaking wet on the other. The hot dog is hard as a rock.

I had a horrible experience at the checkout just a few minutes ago. I was buying a few articles and three bottles of wine. I am 81 years old and the clerk insisted that I provide evidence of my age. I don't even wish to look like a teenager. I look my age. The line was long and so I provided my driver licence which she insisted to enter into the register. I resent her nonsense and her disdain for those of us who like a glass of wine. I am a pretty regular customer but no longer. Time to clean up your act at the register.

I had a terrible experience at the Taos Albertsons self-checkout, and I have been going there for years. I have never had an experience like this. I will be taking this up with management and any other channel I can.
The employee overseeing self-checkout confronted me over my personal tote/grocery bag, which I have brought into this grocery store many times without any problem, as if bringing your own reusable bag into a grocery store is somehow suspicious. That alone was absurd.
She then implied that I was skipping items, even though I had scanned and paid for everything properly. There was no clear basis for the accusation, and instead of handling the situation respectfully, she embarrassed me in front of other customers and treated me as though I had done something wrong when I had not.
Monitoring self-checkout is one thing. Publicly accusing customers without cause is another. Management should take this seriously, because no one should be humiliated over something as normal as using their own tote bag and paying for their groceries. I can’t imagine giving my business to this place again.
