Nice atmosphere. Waiter had nothing good to say about the food. Portions are lacking. Timing way off; the waiter was missing most of the time, and they weren't even busy. The drinks took longer than the food. Drinks were okay at best, and not attentively replenished. Dirty dishes and cutlery lingured at the table throughout the entirety of the meal. Seating was uncomfortable, short table, lowback chairs.

    – Beautiful Setting, Warm Service, but the Kitchen Needs Work Terra at the Four Seasons Santa Fe has all the makings of a world-class dining experience—the setting is stunning, and the service is warm, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t quite live up to the five-star expectations. Breakfast was decent, with the standout being the Shakshuka, which was flavorful and well-executed. However, the rest of the dishes across both breakfast and dinner felt very average. At dinner, the French fries served with the steak were cold, clearly old, and had been fried in oil that needed changing—disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. The chicken dish was just okay, lacking the finesse or flavor punch you’d expect from a luxury property like this. With such a great team on the floor and a breathtaking location, it’s a shame the kitchen isn’t hitting the mark. There’s real potential here, but to compete on a true five-star level, the food needs serious improvement.
