I don’t usually have time to write reviews but this Dunkin earned it! Very disappointed in the customer service at this Dunkin. Unfortunately, after today’s experience, this will be my last time buying drinks from this location. It’s just not worth the hassle or money.
This was not the first time I’ve been served an undrinkable drink here, but today had the worst response so far when I politely asked for it to be corrected.
I ordered a cold brew with cream, and once again it came out almost completely white more like milk with a splash of coffee instead of coffee with cream. I politely asked if they could add more coffee to balance it out, which should have been an easy fix.
The manager made the interaction unnecessarily hostile. She came back to the window, asked if the drink was okay even though it visibly still looked like milk and before I could respond, she cut me off, raised her voice, and yelled they had already added more coffee. Before I could even ask for a refund, she shut the window while continuing to yell and fuss about the drink.
The interaction turned unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional.
At that point, I didn’t feel comfortable having my drink remade by someone who was clearly upset over a simple request, so I requested a refund. She did agree to process the refund, but only after she escalated it with no merit . She still handed me the drink, which I ultimately threw away because if she got that mad I have no idea what she may have done to that drink!
On top of that, my husband ordered a hot chai tea, and it was also not made correctly. However, after seeing how my situation was handled, it was clear that addressing a second issue would be pointless. Clearly serving quality drinks to and having reasonable customer service for people trying to patronize their business, is not a priority and maybe even beyond this locations capabilities due to who they choose to employ.
This is a business where customers are simply paying for food and drinks that’s it that’s all, there’s nothing personal about asking for an order to be corrected. My husband and I order the same drinks the same way at other Dunkin locations across New Mexico and even in other states. These are simple orders with no complicated customizations, and other locations consistently get them right the first time or fix them respectfully if needed. Basic customer service and consistency is not maintained here, and this location is horrible representation of Dunkin Donuts across the State and Country. It’s a shame my entire family loves Dunkin but When I’m in Los Lunas which is frequent I will have to find a patronize another similar business. SMH
