  I hadn't been to an Outback in about 15 years. Tonight's experience reminded me why that was. I had the small filet mignon and a baked potato. The steak was very nearly inedible. Although it was nicely seasoned it was so tough that my jaw muscles are sore. The potato came out cold and dry they put your toppings on in the kitchen so the sour cream etc are really skimpy. I'm pretty easy to please and having done my time working in restaurants when I was young, I tend to be an understanding guest and a generous tipper, but when I consider the crummy food together with the unconscionably high prices, I felt obliged to warn others about it. The staff was fine and none of problems were their fault.

  My wife and i had a great dine in. The bartender Kerissa made our visit that much better! She was very attentive and friendly. Our drinks were amazingly delicious and so was the food!

  This place is always a vibe when we go.! Fooood and especially the drinks are always amazing.! Every time we go, we gotta have Kerissa as my server.! She literally yall is the best.! She’s always on top of everything and her customer service is on point at all times.

  Our server Mikaela was great. Checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. The gentleman at the hostess station was awesome. Checked on us a few times and made sure we knew he was available if we had any questions.

  It was recommended by a friend for me to try the blooming onion for some time now and I very much enjoyed the blooming onion because the flavor is unique and I think it's something that's a signature to the restaurant. The scrumptious little sauce that comes with the blooming onion is unique and excellent to have with the blooming onion because it does complement the flavor with the onion and creates a very good flavor Fusion. The pumpernickel bread was excellent. I was surprised with the bread since a lot of places do not have that anymore before the meal. That is good to have that. Ben the waiter was a nice waiter to have. He was polite and he took the time to check on my asking about a side item. The only thing is my table was not picked up or cleaned off as I was done eating some items and leaving the paper to the straw. He did check on me a couple of times though which is nice. He did not overdo it and it is good when waiter or waitresses follow up. I gave it a four because the restaurant was dimly lit and I like light. That is my preference. I did ask to be seated by a window and I was able to. The mini blinds were open some so I was able to enjoy the natural light and look at the sky, and trees which I enjoy doing. I highly/very much recommend eating at Outback Steakhouse, in Las Cruces, on Telshor. There is a varied menu selection with many choices of steaks, also. Enjoy a blooming onion! I think you will like it
