When I saw the prices I wanted to walk out but it was late at night and many restaurants were winding down and preparing to close and it would require finding a suitable one that was open late and then navigating by automobile to get to it so we stayed and ordered 2 little burgers. Did not order the six dollar fries. It was cold inside and cold outside so we ate in our vehicle. The burgers were good, however, I will note that the mushrooms were about as flavorful as canned mushrooms. You could tell that the meat was fresh and good quality. Is it worth the high price? Not to me, but you will have to decide for yourself. If you also believe their food is overpriced then stop patronizing them. Eventually they will either charge fair prices or go out of business.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
