My husband and I come here whenever we’re in town. We love it. However, we had a frustrating experience the last time we were here. We were a party of 8. We sat right next to the piano. Our waitress was either untrained or didn’t care about us. We had to nearly yell down the table because she wouldn’t come down to the far end to take orders. She didn’t take appetizer orders initially, so when she thought everyone was ordering dinner, we had to ask to give her the appetizer order and she seemed surprised “oh, you’re ordering appetizers?” Well, she never asked the people at our end if we wanted anything. We had to continually ask for refills on waters. She just seemed to have a really hard time even coming down to the other end of the table which was so weird. A couple times near the end of dinner a male server came to our end and asked if we needed anything. He was very nice and we wish we had got him for the whole service. Things were just not what we had come to appreciate when going there for dinner. We’ll probably come back but hopefully only get male servers from now on because I can’t remember what she looked like and don’t want to experience that again.

Easily the best meal of our New Mexico road trip. The pecan pesto on the meatballs was divine, the steakhouse salad was fresh and delicious, and the hatch green chile meatloaf truly blew me away. It comes out looking like a beautiful steak, I almost thought they got my order wrong but that’s just how impressive the meatloaf is. Also some of the best wine I’ve had, we were able to sample a few options and everything was so good it made it hard to commit to one glass. We ended up coming back the next day for a flight and the hatch green chile margarita which was incredible. Our servers on both visits were an absolute dream, super easy to talk to and had really lovely and brief conversations with both of them. Big shout out to Mia and Vendela.

Came here for company party. The service was good. Could have been better but it was packed. The appetizers were delicious and so were the drinks. Although the dessert wine was overly sweet imo. The green chili pasta was raved about in our table and others praised the fish. It was unfortunate the cut of meat I got was mostly inedible as you can see in picture. I got the ribeye.
They had a pianist playing lovely music.
I would come here again to try the green chili pasta.
Not sure id try their steak.

I ate at Les Combres in Mesilla, New Mexico, and unfortunately the menu was very underwhelming. There’s really nothing meaningful or memorable on it. The wine selection is good, but the food itself is just boring.
At one point they had a Mongolian beef dish that you could get with noodles, and that was honestly the best thing on the menu. It was the one dish that made me want to come back. Sadly, it’s been removed, and without it there’s nothing that stands out or makes you think, “I need to come back here to eat that.”
Overall, the menu lacks creativity and excitement. If you’re just going for wine, it’s fine but for food, it doesn’t give much reason to return.
