Beautiful dining on the patio. Great service from Elijah. Great wines and great selection. We had a lovely evening here and will be back. Disappointed in the quality of the steak but the appetizers and sides saved the meal. Overall, a lovely evening.

We come here twice a year and we have been to the winery in Deming NM. We love this place. The young lady who was our server needs to get a new job that she likes.... Never came to ask us if we needed anything. Never introduced her self just ask about the select wine of the day. Never said here is what she recommended or the specials for the day. We ordered the ribeye steaks and they were by far the worst steaks we every ate!!! We could not eat the steak as one was walking and other was as tough as shoe leather. The meat was just horrible. We had the manager Kevin come to our table and ask us to what happened. He took off the two dinner plates and gave us a bottle of wine. We also bought two more. They need to fix this hiccup with the meat vendor or take the steak option off. We always come here on our way to the east and the west as we travel cross country

Our 33rd Wedding Anniversary was magical at D.H. Lescombes. The welcome, atmosphere, food, taste and service was tremendous. Miguel, who waited on us was superb. Miguel’s knowledge of the menu and wine lists was perfection and his attention to details was amazing. Many more of our family future celebrations and milestones will be celebrated at D.H. Lescombes. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!

Not really sure what to make of this place. The atmosphere and setting are quite nice and the reviews had us really hopeful. However this was not our experience. The server was constantly slamming stuff on our tables like he was in a hurry to be literally anywhere else, spilling drinks and waters in the process. The cocktails were weak and overly sugary (seriously avoid the margarita, I've had better canned cocktails), and the wine we got commensurate with a $5 gas station slop but priced like it was worth drinking. The "wine ritual" was to slam the bottle on table, hurriedly pour it into the glasses, and never be seen again until it was time to pay, so at least that matched the quality. The food was competent, if nothing special, but felt like it'd been under the heat lamps a little too long. I don't know if they had an off night, or we didn't order right things, or what but yeah I'd call this place great for a date night if you wanted to trauma bond over the absurdity later.

We had an amazing experience at DHLW. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted kindly and attentively from the hostess to the table usher to our server. They have been trained well at bringing you an experience when you’re dining at this wonderful establishment. We had our two pups with us, and the staff was so attentive to them. One of the staff even came over to make a point to greet our girls and told us of his own wonderful pups. Our server Kelsey was an expert at her position and not only gave her advice on delicious wine pairings, but was a great guide to choose our food. We had the meatloaf and pot roast… they were succulent. My husband doesn’t like anyone’s meatloaf except mine, but he was utterly impressed. The pot roast was tender and juicy and full of flavor. We took home some Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, we love wine, and we can tell you, this winery is a must. The entire experience, was just phenomenal. Perfect service, delicious food, and beautiful ambiance. Will be stopping in again, when we are in Las Cruces, NM.
