Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KGKassidee GoforthMar 16, 20261.0I have tried to eat here with my family three times in 6months. Each time we went through the drive through. Each time we received extremely under cooked burgers ( completely raw in the middle). Specifically the green chili double cheese burger. The first time I figured ok it happeneds. The second time I called then to inform them. I live 40 minutes away and was not able to drive back to show them as they requested. The third time today 03/16/26 I asked them to cut the burger in half and please check to make sure it was cook all the way through. When I got home and checked I did see they did in fact cut the burger but they did not cut it down the middle. They cut a small piece off the side from this view the burger looked cooked. I went and cut the burger in half and not to my surprise the burger is raw in the middle. Three times is a pattern. People please check your food. Some of us still remember the over 700 people who fell extremely ill and the 4 little angles who passed away due to under cooked burgers from jack in the box. Please do better whattaburger you have a responsibility to the community you serve.
