This location is unorganized
Took order at drive thru. Got to window she took order twice more still got it wrong. Charged me twice. Was given half of the order had to wait 10 min for other half. Then I was still missing items exited another 10 min all I got was sorry sir. Got home and the burgers were cold and completely not what I ordered and was terribly made. No straws fries were just thrown in bag. This location is terrible, I wouldn’t recommend this location at all. Wasted $60

I went to sonic on Golf Course rd in Albuquerque today 01/06/2026 ordered a frito cheese chili burrito, it was “HORRIBLE” mostly tortilla Fritos were stale only tasted one drop of the chili… I honestly threw the burrito away…maybe they need to hire people who know what they are doing or they are gonna lose business… I’ve also ordered online… I’ve waiting 15 mins for just a drink and I could see the employees from outside talking and making themselves drinks so I called no one ever answered… So ANNOYING

Went to grab some lunch today (1/3/26). I got there around 10:50am, before the lunch rush. I ordered a chili dog, tots, and a soda. Then I waited. People who parked after me were leaving, the drive thru was moving along quickly, and my food was nowhere. After 30 mins I tapped the red button and asked where my food was. The guy on the other end said it would be right out. To my surprise it was. But it was COLD. Like it had been just sitting there for the last 30 mins. I was tempted to ask for it to be remade but feared it would take another 30 minutes or they’d spit on it or something. So I thanked the guy and left. I would recommend going to the other Sonic’s around. This place just isn’t it. On top of the lack luster service, the majority of their ordering screens don’t work.

IDK whats going on at this location. I pushed a button and waited 6 minutes and nobody helped me. Went to the drive thru and waited another long time and nobody took my order. Drove to the window and lwt the guy know and he said there were only two worker. Himself and a cook. Feel bad for the dude man. Hes getting yelled at by customers driving off and stopping at the window to yell. Not his fault but this has been a common occurrence at this location lately. Came 2 weeks ago and waited nearly 30 minutes and then my order was completed wrong and cold cold. This is sad. This time I checked my food. Once again, made my green Chile cheeseburger with mayo and onions. Being a past employee for half life with Sonic, this is so sad. Their standards were so much higher. I went inside and the 3 employees, not 2 were so lost. I felt bad for them. Close the store is this is what you got. The manager inside said it was his last day. I can see why! Hey Sonic, give me a call and ill turn this store into a banger! Customer service and well trained employees and this location would rock!! Forgot my green Chile on my tots. Forgot to check those. This is bad bad

So they make it harder to get the half price drinks...u have to use app and then it mysteriously doesn't work at any location you try to use it. Sonic sucks! They used to be the best place. I would get discount drinks which then encouraged me to get food too. Now they gouge on the drinks, their food quality has significantly gone down and I guess since I can't at least get a discount I'll just say goodbye to sonic. Everything I can get there is better somewhere else anyway. It was the drink price that kept me coming and now that's ruined. The kids working there are nice and trying their best with what corporate gives them I guess.
