  This McDonald's is not bad, the area has some popular attractions like old town, the botanical gardens and aquarium but the block it is built on is very rough area. There are constantly homeless walking around, most of them are friendly but there is the occasional one that is not... I come here a few times when im in the area, they constantly have a deal for 86 cent cheese burgers that i occasionally take advantage of most of the time I get the snack wraps. They have an automated voice in their speeker asking the customer if they are going to use the app. This time around I attempted to use a code in my app after the automated message but when I mentioned it the person managing the drive through said "Wait a minute, just a minute sir" i said "okay". The tone was a bit rough, maybe a bad day or something. Its my first time experiencing something like this in the several times ive been here. After I got the go ahead I said my code and the person over the comms said "Its expired or doesn't work" I told hims its straight from the app, he said "Well it doesn't work" I said okay, I got order inside. I did not want to argue with this person as they were already having a bad day, their demeanor was very unhappy or even neutral. I went inside and processed my order through the self serve kiosk this time it took my exact done from before but before I could finish it froze on me. I tried on another kiosk but it said the (code was already "redeemed" come back in 14 min for another offer) but I did not get anything. I walked up to the counter but the person that was supposed to be managing the cash register was talking to the person managing the second window in the drive thru, the conversation they were having was a personal one yet the tone was out loud since I could hear the conversation involving relationships cursing. After a few minutes the employee notices me and assisted me, I explained the situation to her regarding the codes not working. I asked if it could be redone or assisted me with it but she said no. I made a different food order and went about my way after picking it up. It was a rather odd visit overall, hopefully its the only one at this Macdonalds.

  Guy at the drive through with the black sweater, tonight at 2135 12/18/2025 was a jerk! Rolling his eyes huffin and puffin. If you dont like your job then leave! Simple as that!

  This place bothers me bc no matter how busy or not they always take my money at one window than have me pull up to the last window and seems like they forget abt me?? Evn whn my orders small a drink evn they have me pull up n im left waiting n waiting n waking and still waiting!! They prob have me pull up so it can look like their pushing orders out quick n have no line but it’s bs
