  All was good... would have been great to have someone attending the take out area. (It seemed short staffed thus making it understandable for whomever to also work in kitchen, but it was a long wait til acknowledged).

  I'm going to edit my review and update it, but leave my original down below: I had Jo-Anne reach out to me and offer me and my Fiancé a free meal, and we came in to claim it on January 16, 2026. Talk about making things right. It was genuinely the fastest ive ever been served a meal. Just a couple of minutes from when we placed our order. (it was after the lunch rush on a rainy day so it wasn't busy at this time. Everything was hot and fresh, very tasty, and honestly redeemed everything I complained about. The quality was great, reminding me of the times I had come to Swiss Chalet when I was younger, the server Regina was absolutely wonderful, and even had a lovely chat with my Fiancé about pets that made her day. We had a cheesecake for dessert, and even a couple of hours later, are still talking about how nice of a meal it was. Thank you Jo-Anne, Regina, and the rest of the staff. We will definitely be returning. You could teach a master class on "making it right." Looking forward to coming in again! Old review here. This is no longer my opinion: Ordered delivery today through the app, and had an awful experience. The order was over 30 minutes late from the estimate (it was placed ahead of time, so being so far off was a little extreme, in my opinion) One of the sides was missing, so I called customer support through the app. The lady was friendly, and I did not recall her name, which is unfortunate as we became best friends over the hour that followed. We were missing the mashed potatoes and gravy, and I was offered either a 5 dollar credit, which is barely enough to cover the cost of the side itself, or to request the restaurant rushes out a replacement order, which I asked her to do. She transferred me to the store, because apparently the portal was down, so I let it ring, and then it hung up on me. I called the store back directly, after double checking that the order did indeed come from the Aberdeen location. No answer, and it hung up on me after ringing for 2 minutes. Then 8 more times. No answer, and having your system hang up on a customer who is just trying to resolve an issue that many times is insulting. Nearly a half hour on the phone going through the same dialogue tree only to be hung up on. All of this while trying to eat the remainder of my meal. I had to call customer service back and have another chat with my buddy who applied the credit, which has a strict time limit and too many stipulations. Swiss Chalet has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a child, and ive had the displeasure of watching them go downhill in quality and customer service over the years. I think it may be time to find new places to eat. Attached is my call log making me look insane just trying to get my fiancé's mashed potatoes.

  Had Door Dash delivery to our hotel. I ordered a bake potato with sour cream and chives. Didn't get the sour cream or chives! No cutlery!!! Terrible terrible service
