I'm writing this review as an Uber Eats driver to share a very frustrating experience at this Five Guys location on October 3, 2025. I was assigned to pick up an order (for Steven F.). The restaurant received the order at 5:38 PM. I arrived at the location a few minutes before the scheduled 5:47 PM pickup time to ensure a prompt delivery. However, the staff did not hand me the completed order until 6:08 PM. This means it took the restaurant a full 30 minutes from receiving the order to finally having it ready. I spent over 20 minutes of that time just standing and waiting inside the restaurant. This unacceptable delay has a major ripple effect: For the Customer: Because of the long wait at the restaurant, combined with delivery time and traffic, the customer had to wait well over an hour from the time they placed their order to receive their food. For the Driver: The significant delay resulted in a poor customer experience, and as a result, I did not receive a tip for the delivery. This one delay impacted my entire hour. I was handling a second delivery as well, and because of the time wasted here, my total earnings for that hour for two completed deliveries were less than $10. A Note to Customers: Please be aware when ordering from this location that there can be significant delays in preparing delivery orders. Also, remember that Uber often groups deliveries, so a long wait here means your driver is delayed for their next pickup and your fellow customers are also left waiting longer. I sincerely hope the management addresses their slow service for delivery orders, as it negatively impacts both your customers and the drivers you rely on.
