  It’s a pretty good lunch place! I like the salsa and crema it adds flavor

  Went in for the 1st time but didn’t like the food. Ordered 4 tacos across two different price columns. Asked the waitress beforehand if I can mix the ones under different price columns and she said “2 and 2”. Whatever that meant! So ordered 2 under $14 and 2 under $15 (thought I’d get 4 tacos and be charged $14.5. How hard is it?!). But ended up getting 8 tacos and got charged double. Worst is the four varieties I ordered (carnitas, chicken chipotle, steak and short rib bbq) taste almost the same. Taste like week old meat re-heated. This place is called “artisan” and says “home made” in the menu. But honestly I don’t think much of anything here is home made. The food actually made me feel sick all day. And had to pay double! Maybe just got bad luck. Not coming back.

  Imagine a tortilla layered with fried cheese, perfectly seasoned cochitina (pulled pork), thinly sliced red onion and cilantro - amazing right? Guac and chips were great, nachos were piled high with well seasoned chicken, everything tasted fresh. This place does a crazy takeout business and I see why.

  Really enjoyed our meals and the people running the restaurant were really very nice. Probably the best Mexican I've had in years. Everything was very fresh. Highly recommend Folklore
