When I politely asked again for extra cheese, the employee working the line deliberately picked up a few shreds of cheese, twiddled them in her fingers, and dropped one single shred onto my bowl. When I questioned it, she repeated the same behavior again. This was not a misunderstanding — it felt intentional, hostile, and childish. I then asked for a side of cheese. She immediately tried to force the cashier to charge me for it and told him to add it, despite how absurd the situation already was. Thankfully, the cashier Juan handled it professionally and did not charge me. He was the only employee acting appropriately and deserves recognition. To make matters worse, when I asked for salad dressing, Juan went to grab it and this same employee stopped him and said they were “all out” — despite the store having opened less than 30 minutes earlier. This interaction was uncomfortable, rude, and completely unnecessary. Chipotle is fast casual — not a power trip. Management needs to seriously address this employee’s behavior. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a Chipotle and it ensured I won’t be returning to this location.
