Hello Acme, Here is the thing I can’t believe. I bought 2 black sesame seed on 12/31/2025 and was planning to make some bread in the new year. This morning when I wanted to make bread and took the seed out. I just found that both black sesame seed were already expired on Nov 01 2025, which was still in sale on 12/31/2025. And I am the luck dog who got the lottery. It’s unbelievable, and I can’t believe whether the groceries I bought from ACME were also expired!! Can you please give me an explanation and solution!! Thanks

The repeated incidence of expired items in the refrigerated "Abe's" section is unreal. Management needs to be corrected on this ongoing problem for months now..

I go here for groceries often. It’s basically Safeway (Albertsons), which I really love.

I was a customer at Edgewater location and recently moved to the one in WNY because is closer to my house. Been there like 3 or 4 times now, last time got a pack of 8 pork chops which 3 of them were spoiled. Today 11/7/25 looking to buy meat I saw several packs of meat totally rotten, blackened/brownish color. We all know meat is red. They don't have enough staff to keep checking the shelves or staff dont care for this issues. I looked around to find an employee to address the situation but couldn't find it. Fish and meat departments were unattended. I told the cashier (Emmanuel) to please comment the situation to the manager. Hopefully he will. I'm going back to Edgewater location where I never had an issue of spoiled products. This WNY location is at an expensive neighborhood, I'm pretty sure customers would like to find some respect for the money they spent at the market, quality should match the neighborhood price standards.
