  The service portion ONLY goes to my waiter Nathan!!! Everyone else can kick rocks! From the moment I walked in the “lovely” ladies at the front desk were just blah! Confused, misinformed, uninterested. I made reservations, received a text 2 minutes before arrival, informed via text that I was on my way. Got to the desk, the older lady act like she didn’t know anything about my reservation. Had to solicit the help of someone else. Finally got things right. Was seated and given the wrong menus. If it weren’t for NATHAN we wouldn’t have been given the right BIRTHDAY menu. From then on our experience turned better only because of Nathan!!

  We chose Chart House to celebrate both a birthday and my grandparents’ anniversary, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We were a group of four and were lucky to get a beautiful window-side table. The highlight was definitely the stunning NYC skyline view over the water while we dined—it really elevated the whole evening. For appetizers, we tried the kimchi calamari and hummus naan, both of which were delicious and a great start to the meal. Everyone enjoyed their main courses as well, along with some drinks. The service was quick, attentive, and overall very pleasant. A special touch that stood out was the complimentary birthday and anniversary desserts—they brought out a red velvet cake and a chocolate lava cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. Reservations are definitely recommended—we had booked in advance and also requested a window table, which I’d suggest doing, especially if you’re visiting from out of town like we were. Overall, I’d rate this experience a 4/5. Great food, excellent views, and thoughtful service make it a perfect spot for special occasions.

  I came here back on the April 5th on Easter Sunday. The food was ok and it was a special moment for me as my fiancé proposed to me inside the restaurant. The staff made it so awkward that day not even a clap or anything just everyone walking past. I know my fiancé wanted to make this moment special but would not recommend anyone come here to get engaged.

  If you want amazing food, outstanding service, phonaminal atmosphere this is where you go. With spectacular views of the NYC skyline where you can watch the boats pass Chart House is the place. The General Manager Hans made my evening so extremely special. I couldn't get a reservation on open table because they were booked solid and only available time slots were 345pm or 915pm. I called the restaurant and was transferred to Hans. I told him my situation and he not only got me a table but it was one of the best ones in the house. I was treated like I was a king and the 2 amazing ladies I was with were both queens for the evening. I can not say 1 negative thing about my experience and I dont have enough room to explain how unforgettable Hans made my evening. It was a very important evening for me and I am speechless in ways to express my gratitude to Hans and his staff. Impeccable absolutely impeccable. If infinite starts was an option then that is what I give. Highly recommend the Chart House in Weehawkeen. There is nothing around that will compare. I stake my reputation on these words. Thank you again to the entire staff at Chart House, Hans you have a great team and have done wonders with your establishment inwill definitely be visiting you again.

For the meal, we ordered the salmon plate—perfectly cooked, flaky, and rich, with a clean, fresh flavor that didn’t need much embellishment. The New York strip steak was equally impressive: cooked to a precise temperature with a beautiful sear, tender in the center, and packed with bold, savory flavor. The standout, though, was the seafood combo pasta. It was loaded with fresh seafood mix and tossed in a well-balanced sauce that brought everything together without overpowering the natural flavors. Each bite felt indulgent but not heavy. Between the high-quality dishes, top-tier service, and that unbeatable waterfront view, Chart House delivers a full experience—not just a meal.
