- ECEmily. CMar 2, 20262.0I've been to Outback before, but my recent visit to the Wayne location was really disappointing. The food quality just isn't what it used to be. Other reviewers have mentioned the same issue—inconsistent cooking and declining standards . The Bloomin' Onion, their signature dish, was way too oily. It used to be crispy and delicious, but this time it was just a greasy mess. I've seen other diners complain about deep-fried items being overly greasy too . Portions have gotten much smaller. You're paying more and getting less. Multiple reviews confirm this—one person called it "ridiculously overpriced" for what you get, with a group of 4 spending $275 and feeling ripped off . I totally agree with these. Here's the thing to watch out for: The tip was already included in our bill, but they didn't tell us anywhere. We didn't notice, so we added an extra tip on top. Only realized we paid double after we got home and checked the receipt properly. It's not right that they hide this—they should clearly let customers know so this doesn't happen. Sadly, I won't be coming back. Too expensive, quality slipping, and sneaky billing practices. If you do go, check your bill very carefully before paying!
